Greetings. When will be newer version (one that has multiplayer) available here on GOG?
Thank you
I would like some clarification here too. Is it planned that the GOG version will have multiplayer? If so can we play with people on Steam?
Yes! Multiplayer, plz. That's in a new version? Ah. I've been wondering how to do that until now.
How's it look with the humble version? Is that multiplayer capable, without steam?

As far as I know, version available here on GoG (which is currently 1.2G) might only have local (split-screen) multiplayer. I haven't tested it though as I don't have controller which is needed.

Steam version (1.3 and up, I think) already has some kind of online multiplayer (I've seen it on youtube only)

We know that. I've tested it already, using Controller and Mouse enables splitscreen multiplayer.
Doesn't help though, because 1), it's local only, and 2), it seems to be extremely picky about which Controller can be used, as all of my controllers won't keep holding onto anything. It's like trying to grab things with slippery hands, it lets go as soon as you move or doesn't register directional inputs at all every now and then... it's the same issue with controllers in singleplayer.

That's why we're asking for the (online) Multiplayer update.
It's been out for about 1 month or so already!

I can only assume they're either still trying to fix some bugs that cause crashes, or are dependant on Steam API/Servers, or just didn't release the Update on GoG just because. IDK.

Would be good if any developers do a pronunciation about this. I bought this game on gog, hoping that i could play online with my friends. Now i'm thinking to refund this game and buy on steam because this version taking so loooong to come.

Just keep in mind this ain't GoGs fault, usually.
There's an API for distributing patches for games here AFAIK, like with steam. The devs still just don't use it for one reason or another, I think. So correct me if I'm wrong, but lackluster updates and late patches on GoG are due to lazy devs.

Maybe they don't want to deal with double bug reports on two platforms at the same time, or something.
Or in this case, Multiplayer ain't coming for non-Steam versions. That would suck.

My grandson and I were also wondering when online support for Human Fall Flat would occur for the GOG purchase.
So I sent a short question to Ice Koob on STEAM to ask him.

If he replies, I will update here.

-fingers crossed-

Update 16.Dec - He deleted my post with no comment. So not sure what they are planning for online update outside of Steam.

He deliberately deleted your post for enquiring about the MP update for GoG...?
De fuhq? No explanation? That seems rather rude, actually...

I wouldn't be surprised if they're avoiding the multiplayer update on GOG due to the lack of DRM. Since you need multiple copies to play with friends on Steam, they get more sales. Shutting out DRM-free routes ensures they don't have to worry about game sharing for such a feature.
