New patch came out fixed wall issues and problems with placing stuff down.

wallabyonpyre: Not for me! Did a new installation, try to destroy all walls of the first house of the DLC... and no: only 70% or so of the walls could be destroyed. So now I am stuck with the DLC upgrade again because there is no way to just *deinstall* it. So if you dont want to loose your game progress, do not intall the DLC yet.
Did not fix anything for me, either. I did the Japanese Garden job, and then went to the Stilt House, I tried to move a chair, and could not put it down. Not anywhere. I finally forced my way down the stairs by jumping repeatedly and dropped the chair on the foundation under the house, where it promptly vanished.

It's like they think new shiny stuff will distract us from the fact that the old shiny stuff is not working.

I am wondering if the wall and positioning problems comes only with this gog version. I checked the bug forum on steam and they are talking about alot of things but not "our" problems. Or am I the only one trying crack down all walls in every house? Its also very weird that there is no reaction from the developers at all to that issue. Sad and very anoying..

Well, I uninstalled the game and re-installed it without HDTV. Latest version from here. So far so good. I did the mission where you knock out the walls and paint a bedroom blue. The walls were a little slow to disappear after I bashed them to rubble, but they did go eventually.

I had a save from before I bought that DLC, so I could continue on from that one. I had some missions that I had not done well on that identity so I am doing those over again.
i'have playing 50 hours on House Flipper and uninstalled il with HGTV DLC, too many bugs...

i'm waiting patchs...
Not sure, but seems the game has fixed some serious issues; did not have any issues with placing stuff or tearing down walls with the newest version (1.20252, I think). Keeping fingers crossed!
Same here, all bugs seems to be gone and finally its fun again ( I am just wondering why all this never was mentioned in changelogs). Best new feature is the lawnmower with which you can overrun trees now.
So I am off to tear down walls and place some chairs ;)

Has this DLC definitely been fixed now? I seem to be seeing a mix of replies saying that this DLC is a game-breaker, and then others saying they've not had problems. It looks really cool and I'd like to buy it eventually, but not if it can break the game. :(

I have no more problems now, 64 hours of play, the achievements are unlocked and I can't wait to be in 2021 for the new DLC.
