Was wondering if episode 2 is in the works still? Or a whole new game?

Ahhh. I do not have twitter or fb, or anything. So any new content you have done, or any fixes or patches or updates, will also come out when Episode 2 is finished?

Hi, first of all, I just finished it and I love this game! Thank you for your hard work. Now, while we wait for episode 2, you knowing your game the best, can you give us any game recomendations which feel and play similarly (gzdoom or otherwise.) Thank you!.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it, I really can't think of any game that's like Hedon 100%.

When it comes to GZDoom I always recommend Ashes 2063 which is an amazing total conversion retro shooter that doesn't get enough attention.

Another one I usually recommend Inquisitor 3D, it's an RPG but in some regards it brushes up with Hedon's design and the kind of design I like - https://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=54380

You can also try Winter's Fury for GZDoom, that's also great, and you'll notice similarities in the soundtrack style and boss fights with Hedon.

Just a heads-up: Zan just posted news on Steam, saying that episode 2, called Hedon Bloodrite, will be released in the second half of summer 2021.

The announcement says "[...] I'm not sure whether it will be added to the main game with a price increase or as a separate download". Either way, I hope we'll get it here on GOG as well :)

Come on, Hedon is well worth the asking price right now, even without a sale, and you'll get Bloodrite for free once it's released. In a way, the current price IS the final sale before the price gets increased to reflect the amount of content you get.
