mintee: i also had the exact same bug and couldnt complete chapter four. the link to the saved games saved me. spent three hours clicking on every hotspot and inv item in game in order to 'bump' whatever trigger was needed to advance.

frankly, it has ruined the game for me as prior to that were repeated instances of the game not progressing unless my char clicked on some hotspot in some perfect order that the coder wanted, no matter if i had already clicked that same hot spot numerous times before. led to numerous backtracking and reclicking every bloody thing in game to get it to advance. one time it was just a few word text change on an old link and voila.. the game advanced. silly really, going to play the rest of the game with a guide on hand to cut down on all the stupid to-ing and fro-ing to see if some random link is now reactivated or changed. up to now it was a decent atmospheric game with lovely graphics and soundtrack

Phc7006: I got stuck at the end of chapter 4, due to the "logic trap" in that chapter ( the game let you perform an action before one of the conditions to fulfill that action is met. if you do, you cannot come back later to it and the chapter doesn't end properly ... Result " There is always a plant the house stuck at 128/141 , chapter at 97%) . Unfortunately, my saved game in chap IV is after the error. And I don't want to restert from the end of chap 2 ( my previous save )

If anyone has a saved game from chapter 4 or at the start of chapter 5... I'd be grateful
