How do I install the patch? downloaded it from wog but it says it can't find gothic 3 on my computer. Any suggestions?

Are you running the patch as Administrator if on Vista or Windows 7 ?

If you have the GOG version, it is likely in a different location then the patch expects (a guess).

When I installed mine, it asked for a location. I have Vista, and the program was installed under Program Files/GOG/Gothic 3 (or something to that effect). You just have to give it the path, and it allows you to browse to do so.

Cheers for the help, it was the file path, for some reason I had 2 lots of files for Gothic 3 in 2 completey different locations.

Where is the patch link? I can't find the download link anywhere... :/ I just bought this yesterday and still can't play it...

Gothic 3 (GOG version) comes fully installed with all community patches. You don't have to install anything else.

But, if you get a black screen when you start the game, please allow the game up to 15 minutes - it's building its cache, and on some slower machines it might take longer.
