So, I have finally come to the point where the last RPG that I have had my eye on for some time is downloaded on my PC: Gothic 2. This will be the RPG I retire on, and hopefully it will live up to some of the greats I have played over the years. I played the demo and got the feeling that it feels somewhat like Arcanum, a flawed masterpiece, made with passion by real RPG enthusiasts, plenty of substance, but weak in some key areas. First thoughts at least.

Anyway... Obviously this is my first playthrough of Gothic 2, which I just downloaded tonight, and will be playing later this week. Just trying to get some points of view from others who are more experienced with the series if I should download any community patches/mods, or if I am good to go?

EDIT: i just found a new mod, that adds all the patches and graphics mods from above, and also add 250 hours of additional content, im going to try it now! it looks AWESOME!
