These are some of my frustrations with this game.

I can't clone plants. Apparently you can clone people, grow them to adults in mere moments, but you can't clone plants. If you try to remove a plant, you will kill it. This seems to be good way to shoot yourself in the foot.

Harvesting only 1 plant. It seems that you can only harvest 1 plant from missions, or at least that is my experience. They then are put into a depot slot. They seem to be a quite a bit of trouble to collect and grow. Plus some planets have plants everywhere yet only a few are harvestable.

Limited resources per planet. It seems that you can only mine so many resources from a planet. This is despite planets being really huge. Plus I recall reading that a single asteroid may contain more metals than what has been mined in all of human history. I'm not quite getting why you play the game with such a shortage of materials. This is real immersion breaking.

I don't know what alien research does. It seem to consume radiation blue, and causes alien to drop biomass and dna. You can also do that by going planet side and shoot the spawning aliens. I think that is a more effective strategy.

Hints. I would like to be able to read the hints in game at my own pace. Plus my computer is too fast at loading maps, so I never have enough time to read them. I didn't know what sites were until I accidentally stumbled across one.
There doesn't appear to be an option to turn off vibration for my gamepad. I'm playing with mouse and keyboard, but my gamepad is rumbling its way off the table and on to the floor. I shouldn't need to unplug my gamepad to play games.

I'll agree with that last post. There should be a way to turn off controller vibration.
with the limited resources got to do since its a rogue like game.. so well that is the thing....

its a rogue like game so well everything is randomly created... you can always set something on low and up the resources on planets. in the options for creating the galaxy
I'm actually glad for the limited resources, most of my time in the game is spent in the tractor/hangar/refinery complex playing pest control during harvesting, so I'm always glad to move on from a system. If anything, this stuff should either be made rarer so you have to do less of it, or further streamlined.

hm i think you just want to make the game more boring.....
What a tutorial, some bugs hidden in boyels just destroyed the ship. I was even not able to land somewhere.
It was supposed to be easy, isn't it?
Can't we clone some cats? instead of those useless turrets.

lol.
In this game where're not Captain, we're tractor beam operator crue, clones don't know how to (not) use it..

The tutorial is really a cold shower... everything is calm and cool and at some point warnings everywhere, modules detaching from the ship, loss of oxigen in every room... and I was just sucked into space...

But well if it wanted to be a survival game, it delivered.

In the next game everyone is able to do better, because from the "tutorial", you understood where aliens can appear, what are the weak spots of the ship, and the rooms to be protected at all costs.

So, for me, even if it wasn't a really true "safe and calm" tutorial, it did its job.

But they really should put some kind of paedia/FAQ about the game in that PDA you have always with you, instead to have to "speak" to the clones.

The tutorial tells we must not use the tractor room, it's too dangerous. End of game. Uninstall.

No man, turtorial just tells you to put some turrets around (and under) that room, and that's it.
Those will not prevent infestation but will kill aliens and save your workers, you'll just have to clean the area sometimes by yourself, but not in such a hurry.
When your workers becomes lvl 3, they will clean infestations too by themselves.

It's pretty a satisfaction when your ship becomes fully functioning without the need of you doing all the work...
and also seeing your crew killing all the attackers from another ship by themselves without your help.

Nope, nothing tells this like this. I had put turrets in corridors and in the room, but nothing tells they must mainly be placed under, there is a big lack in the tutorial, and for a newb' there seems be no place for a turret under the floor. A newby ship should not be made destroyed by a small bug.

When you know the game, that the spaceship is made of cheese, sure you're in alert and not feeling safe in your ship.
This tutorial is only good for who already knows the game, maybe by youtube videos.
The tutorial just say that you have to protect that room, but if you stay there a while, you see that aliens comes also from the bottom...
It's not even hidden in that room, there's a stair that goes under the floor, and if you explore a little there you can see immediately that those tunnels covers the entire ship...

For now I just played the game 2 times, the first was the tutorial were I died horribly, and the second play I finished the game and then continued to play with the same profile after that... and still there are situations that can harm the entire ship easily.

There were MANY things that still got me not prepared, and put at risk the ship, but this is the point of the game... a tutorial can't prepare you for everything, it just explains what you can do, not how you have to do... that's up to you.

You can also don't use turrets at all, but place entrance points to the underfloor in every room, so it's easiear to see infestations and remove them... or upgrade the ship and let aliens run around, so your clones will level up faster killing them... (and you'll also get bio material and more alien stuff to research !!)

There are a lot of ways to manage the ship.
