For we make ports, linux and fix mac issues for example.
If the only official support is the xbox, and every plug in ''we use at our own risk'' that galaxy 2.0 don't make a sense.

it can be easily ported to Linux because it's written in Qt and plugins are in Python. that's native Linux things.

because gog are lazy to create such port themselves, the only chance to get client for Linux is to create it by community efforts. would it be more "on topic" for you?
