Wondering, how about itch.io integration? Is this something that's being worked on either internally or as a community plugin?

Anybody is able to create their own integrations (that also means you gotta be careful when downloading one from some random person online).

This is the current list of integrations being worked on by the community, with the Friends of Galaxy integrations being integrated already on GOG Galaxy and apparently being supervised by GOG.

https://github.com/Mixaill/awesome-gog-galaxy/blob/master/README.md#resources

Sadly, no itch.io as of yet.

There is one now: https://github.com/Ertego/gog-galaxy-itch.io/releases

Not sure it works well, I'll test it later. I think it's still in early stages

Apparently, you have to manually install it. It doesn't come up in the search. Secondly, good luck figuring out how to manually install any of the integrations. Nobody tells you how to do it. I just lucked into it. Thirdly, the itch.io integration does not work. At all. I can connect my account (I successfully log in and it says I'm connected), but no game list ever shows up. It's just empty. As far as what they claim the plugin does at the moment is just list your game library. You can't even install or launch from Galaxy by their own admission. But like I said, it doesn't even list my library for me at all.

tl;dr: Don't bother with it for now. The integration plug-in does not work for itch.io right now.

I remember the plugin used to work as advertised, note that only the installed games may appear in GOG launcher. Seeing your Itch library and commanding an install directly from Galaxy is not yet a thing. So if you have no game installed this may be the reason you see nothing.
Add my vote to the people looking forward to a GOG Galaxy integration that will allow me to view, install, and launch my purchased Itch games.
This would be great. I’d be happy if it just listed my games, I don’t care much about Galaxy launching Itch games.

I have plenty of itch.io games. Updated the plugin. Still "no results" in Galaxy.
Yesterday my Itch.io client was updated, and now any game is shown in Galaxy. And if I am not wrong only one version of the plugin exists for now. So I fear that the last itch.io update messed something up about how the games are displayed in Galaxy.

The plugin advises something about how the client needs to be installed in the default installation folder to the correct detection etc... but I had my personal installaton folder and games folder and previusly it worked, my games were detected fine.

Greetings
Why can i put my humble bundle drm free games, but i cant put my itch.io games

Apparently you also have to have the itch launcher installed. It isn't working for me but I think the server may be swamped due to the huge bundle they have on offer. I'll try again later and hopefully report success.

Update: successfully installed itch launcher more quickly than I expected. Plugin crashes whether itch launcher is running or not.
If you're a fellow new user purchasing the Huge Bundle™, note that it doesn't automatically add the games to your itch.io library. This means that Galaxy (and the itch launcher) wouldn't have anything to scrape from in the first place if you're looking to display owned games.

Currently, a game only get added to your itch.io library when you go to the bundle page, then the bundle's downloads page, and then access the download page for that specific game. To quote the bundle's downloads page:
Note: Projects in this bundle are hidden in your library by default untill you first access them in order to avoid flooding your library. You can return to this page at any time to access any projects you wish to show in your library.

Note: We will be updating this page soon, we know it's difficult to navigate so many games. We know you want a button to add show everything in your library. No need to reach out. Any new games added to the bundle will automatically show up here. Thanks!
Essentially, the itch.io developers are putting out fires and screaming right now. I'd give it a while before thinking about integrating it into Galaxy.
Given how many people must have bought the =Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality, I think it's a great opportunity for Galaxy launcher to work on a better integration. 1705 games are included in the bundle.

It'd be convenient if these games could be browsed from within the launcher. Regardless of whether or not they are added to the itch.io library by browsing the download page. Maybe this would require some development from the mainline devs also so bundles can be browsed individually instead of all the games of a bundle showing up in the library. If the user chooses to that is.
(Am not adding substantial new info in this post, just adding to voices requesting itch.io integration)
