Since the very beginning of Galaxy 2.0 there is an error that STILL live : Lost connection to communication service (must close galaxy, blablablaaa).
And this is STILL NOT solved !
NO solution worked on it, i repeat : NONE !
This fucking error ALWAYS occurs.
Do something in priority on that !

February 26th 2022 and this is still very much broken, zero improvement and it happens every single time I launch GOG without fail. In addition, while its running, after a while it will prompt for this unnecessary "update" and if you select update it will fail yet again, close GOG. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Support tickets go completely unanswered and after reading endless numbers of these posts I don't understand why is this still an issue.

It CONTINUOUSLY prompts for the latest version that is already installed and fails, then crashes. At least is there any way to stop GOG from checking for updates????

Ugh

dBLOOD: Thx mate, I'm still wondering though why they are forcing that shit onto us without our consent the first place...
I think I'm going to remove galaxy and just use my games offline in the future.
I have the same question actually, and I don't understand why it's happening like that

I currently have an open support ticket which is a little past 4 months since the last reply from GOG support, and has been open since 2020 with very little progress on any of the major issues. I suggest contacting support and trying to get enough open tickets about the fact that Galaxy 2.0 isn't fit to be the primary launcher for GOG to take their users seriously.

https://www.gog.com/forum/general_beta_gog_galaxy_2.0/open_letter_to_gog_and_message_to_support

I tried that, but the lack of users on the forums makes it hard to really push things in an organised way here.
