cich: Thanks, I'm wondering about that.
But I'm curious if anyone has played it in recent years for the first time, and managed to still enjoy the first one despite the flawed controls?

lugum: Yes i did actually replay it a few months ago and i did still enjoy it, i did not finish it but thats more because i have many games in the backlog and lost track of it, but i will surely get back to it.
I think a gamepad would also work well with this game, but haven't tried that.
Yeah, I think I might test it with a gamepad too.

OK, thanks, I'll get them both :D
How is Legend of Grimrock on the specs? I was going to say no way because of the screen shots but then I saw how small the download was; obviously we aren't dealing with the Witcher games here in terms of hard drive capability.

@cich
I appreciate all your work. Keep the cult strong and I will see you do well in the next world. :D

I have an early 2009 iMac with an Nvidia 9400M graphics card and it runs pretty well. Of course i had to lower the graphics settings and it's not running at 60FPS, more like 40 - 50, but that's perfectly fine for such a game. Since it uses hardware cursor you mouse cursor won't be lagging behind, it will have the proper OS speed regardless of framerate, which is a big deal in an interface-driven game.

works fine on a quad core with a geforce gt430 and 4gb ram atleast. but from what i am guessing your system is even lower, just getting a new cheapo graphic card can do wonders sometime.

Thanks everyone.
Think I'll pass this time but thank you. :D
Great promo... for those who did'nt spend their last money on the other giant promo.
I'm glad that they ar supporting mac, even though I don't have it myself.
Either the prices are wrong or the discount percentage. Legend of Grimrock costs 14.99$ regularly and now it's 4.99$, i.e. one third, not one fourth. That's a 66% discount, not a 75% discount. The same goes for the other games.

Sorry, beaten to it by Stooner. Don't worry about it.

No, you are observant - if you were an idiot, you would have fallen for Gog's cunning plan and spent all your money!

Usually I just skim the promo announcements because most of what they contain is just fluff, that's why I didn't notice the "up to" part.
