Hunt for the golden idols in GOG.com screenshots!

EDIT: Hi! We no longer accept entries. Please give us some time to figure out what to do with the flood of correct answers!

Spelunky is all about exploring and treasure hunting. We know everyone loves looking for hidden treasures, so we thought we did something special to celebrate the game's launch. We propose a scavenger hunt, and you'll need to go deep into our game catalog to find what you're looking for. You may call it website spelunking! We've hidden 10 golden idols iconic to Spelunky on the screenshots for some of the indie games on GOG.com website. That's ten indie games, each with one golden idol hidden in one of the screenshots. Whoever finds all of them and submits the description of their exact locations to contest@gog.com, get's a chance to win one of the 10 amazing Spelunky Minis!

First come, first served. You'll need to act fast! The models will be selected at random and sent to the winners via mail (worldwide). Each figurine will come bundled with a bonus code for a $9.99 GOG.com game, that will be sent via e-mail, so that you get this feeling of accomplishment while you wait for the package ;-) Hint: you should pay special attention to the games of the following developers/publishers: Wadjet Eye Games, Amanita Design, Snowbird Games, and Basilisk Games. Good luck, and have fun!

Novotnus: I just prefer her older songs... but the video for this one is pretty neat.
Older? Isn't Pan i Pani her first album? Or you mean her songs from before solo career? In this case it's like Beatles with Pete Best - I've heard of it, but not that much familiar with.

Novotnus: If I haven't, your username would've told me :)
It's good to be home.:)
Truth be told, I wanted to use proper number, but for some reason I couldn't create profile with such name. So I came up with next closest thing that came to mind. And I like it worked: as much as I like song, I don't want to be named Rudy wrzesień.;)

Yea, when they didn't pretend to be serious :)

Strange, there are users with numbers in their usernames...

Heh, in this case I suppose there is a lot of catching-up ahead. ;) Thanks for hint.

It's not GoG issue, it probably been my browsers issue, or ISP's (like a... ahem, modem connetion of 28 kbps:D), or something - I just don't remember. But for some reason (probably wanted something badly or had time to play that something:)) I had no wish to wait till it going to fix itself. Not that I don't like this name - it's just doesn't match avatar. :)
Quick question: what happens if we use (or try to use) the voucher on a game that's on sale? The voucher's valid for a year -- and there's a pretty good chance that most, if not all of the games in the list will go on sale at some point during that time.

I was thinking the same. 50% off a game that's 50% off would be pretty sweet.

Pwetty pwease GOG?

G-Doc: As for the question of raffle, apart for the reason that it would only get 10 out of 160 people something, it would also be unrealistic. Just imagine, there are 10 hidden treasures and 160 treasure hunters looking for them. Then, once they are found, the hunters gather in a camp and go like: OK, now let's play rock paper scissors to see who gets to keep the treasure. As if those who got to the loot first would have any reason to let go of it ;-)
That only works as a real life event with everyone starting at the same time and all with an equal chance. With this competition the only reason why some were first is they saw the post first. So someone who sees it a little later could be much faster at finding them but has no chance because they don't refresh the site constantly or happened to check in when it was posted. If it was announced to start at a certain time then anyone interested could be on at that time an have an equal chance. Then give the 10 first the prizes and everyone else a discount code.

That's how I would have done it to be fairer to a global audience.
I missed but nice stuff :)

amcdermo: A draw of all the entry's would be best for future competitions. That way everyone has a fair chance.

Thank you for the answers! I can see I was woefully under-sighted to complete this challenge. I had actually looked at Eschalon book 1 for example and had completely missed it XD. I doubt I would have done this in time or well.

In any case, thanks again for putting this up, it was nice to see the clever work behind the hidden idols :D.
