Don't miss our YouTube show featuring the recent releases and promos!

For the past six months we've been publishing our This Week on GOG shows. Yes, that's right--today marks our show's half-anniversary! We're glad that you enjoy our efforts (we know that from your comments) and we appreciate all your witty remarks, helpful suggestions, and continuous support. Whenever you subscribe to our YouTube channel, Mr. A, our Video Ninja, lets out a shriek of joy. Each time you share a TWoGOG episode with your friends via the social media, he dances a little victory dance. Not to mention The Enigmatic T, beaming up with pride every time you comment on his voice acting. Sometimes someone even mentions that the show is well written--that's when tears of joy fill old G-Doc's weary eyes (that's me--your humble writer). Producing This Week on GOG has been challenging, inspiring, and fun for the past 22 published episodes, the 8 never-published test episodes!), the current, 23rd episode, and we sure hope it will stay that way for many more episodes to come. Anyway, here's this week's this week.

So, if you haven't already, you might want to follow the GOG.com channel on Youtube, so you won't miss our shows, specials, and exclusive trailers. Also--you'll make us happy! That's it, thanks for watching, don't miss our Telltale Crazy Sale, and see you next Friday!

G-Doc: While I don't want to comment on the above (either if you guessed correctly or not, nor about the place of a 3-year old game in our classic part of the catalog), I just have to say something:

The classic lineup we've prepared for you in May will blow your mind :-) Can't go into further detail, but I just couldn't contain my excitement anymore ;-)
avatar
rodrolliv: Aaaaand will you make a conference about it?
+1
I wanted to ask exactly the same.

Well, TET doesn't know anything about a spring conference. Want me to dig up the post?

Stooner: Okay, so I expect nothing less than Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, Revenant and so on... just for starters...
This.

If Carmageddon 2 isn't on the release list, I'm probably gonna do something I'm gonna regret. Just saying...

Will trade Carmageddon 2 for SSI crpgs.
Hmm, if Microsoft wasn't mentioned in the Letter to Santa (compared to the prior article about MS, Take Two, and LucasArts being the three lead candidates), maybe something with MS didn't work out? Maybe it really is LucasArts, if Disney has taken a different approach with them.

I guess we'll find out in a couple weeks.

No, no - no up-front excitement. We sit and wait and feed our wallets. It is only 2 weeks more. If they will try to amaze us with 2007 'classics' we will amaze them with letter bombs ;-P

triock: LUCASARTS CONFIRMED! :D

edit: because CD Projekt is a publisher of DIsney movies and video games in Poland, the chances of Lucas Arts games showing up on GOG.com might be higher now. i could be wrong, but one can hope.

Sorry, I was desperate. Yes, my face if "2007 classics"... Technically it will have to be my dad's wallet; I don't have a credit card. But as my semester is ending in a few weeks (actually May 1st), it will be time to ask him to purchase things. And hopefully great things will be re-released.

That would be absolutely astonishing and unbelievably fantastic. I felt that like the evidence landed with Microsoft (release AoEII HD first on Steam for $20 [try to make a chunk of change off that], then AoE + expansions + soundtrack + goodies on GOG for 10, then AoEII original eventually for $10), but lately it seems like they really don't like DRM-free.

I'm curious: what Take 2 games are the highest on the wishlist?
