Here's your weekly Message From GOG!

It's Friday the 13th, but we're not very superstitious around here so here's a new episode of This Week on GOG, our short video guide to recent events, promos, and other happenings on the site. The last episode, by the way. With all the unfortunate changes (a.k.a. "improvements") being introduced to YouTube all the time lately, the number of views we can get doesn't really justify the amount of time and resources we dedicate to the show. That doesn't of course mean, that we won't look for other cool ways to present our games to you! In the meantime, why don't you follow the GOG.com channel on YouTube, and drop by over there from time to time (as apparently just subscribing does not guarantee you'll see our content, nowadays), so you don't miss our shows, specials, and exclusive trailers.

This Week on GOG: FINAL episode (ever)

That's it from us, but let's stay in touch on our social media channels, as we go through our amazing 2013 DRM-Free Winter Sale, and meet you in 2014.

Happy holiday season, everyone!

Yep, we won't be hearing TET until the next GOGference.
I used to look forward to these every week. Shame to see it go.
I enjoyed the videos shame it is over sniff although loved the gag reel at the end.
The videos were always enjoyable, shame to see them go.But thx for the service and perhaps some alternative is down the road.
Aw man, my mom just finished Monk [tv rerun], Wallander and Marple, Poirot's final episode will air in 3 weeks, music is dead, BB, Burn Notice, IT Crowd and Southland are over, and now TWOG is getting axed? What's next, Christmas getting cancelled? What a year.
I always loved watching them. Sad to see them go, but that's what YouTube wants now I guess.
Why is everyone (except those working at GOG) scapegoating YouTube for the cancellation of This Week on GOG? Yes, the new copyright thing affects those who require ad revenue, but AFAIK GOG used the series for promotional purposes only and not YouTube cash.

It doesnt affect only those who monotize but also affect some who just promote.
There has already been some cases where devs had to counterclaim videos.
At least that,s what ive heard.

DCT: yeah it's for both new and old uploads as Angry Joe got a ton of his videos flagged even video with him and the devs themselves from E3 and PAX
Priceless.
To quote Randy Marsh:
"Well that sucks."

Thanks to Theenigmatict and everyone else who worked on the videos! Your work was very much appreciated.
Really? I was really liking these weekly updates telling me what's new and what I've missed. Oh well, Thanks GOG and TheEnigmaticT for entertaining us week after week with these videos.
I liked to see the videos, hope they can do at least the enigmatic hint
Happy holidays all!

Dropping enigmatic hints over the forums and networks, for different releases on a week, would be nice.
