Here's your weekly Message From GOG!

Did you know that there's a magical land, where everyone frowns upon the weekend and celebrates the coming of Monday. Yup. I kid you not. It's called Erathia. Anyway, it's far away from here, and here we have Friday! Yes, it's Friday, so here's a new episode of This Week on GOG, a short video guide to recent events, promos, and other happenings on the site. By the way, if you haven't already, you might want to follow the GOG.com channel on YouTube, so you don't miss our shows, specials, and exclusive trailers.

This Week on GOG episode 36

Also, check out our Exciting EA Exclusives weekend promo, and don't forget: until Thursday, October 17 at 9:59 AM GMT, you'll get a FREE copy of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition with your every purchase on GOG.com. Have a great weekend, and an Erathian Monday ;-)

Sokobond?

Maybe Bullfrog's Hi-Octane?

So is this upcoming giveaway the final part of the birthday celebrations?

GOG.com: Erathian Monday ;-)
Enigmatic Might and Magic reference...
"Two parts isooctane, one part butane, a teaspoon erythrocytes, ten cubic meters carbon dioxide, and one and a half tons of iron-carbon alloy. Mix violently."

Someone's gotta dissect this clue. What does it equal to?

EDIT: iron-carbon alloy = steel. erythrocytes = red blood cells.

@ the admins: The headline is the one from last week. Or at least the games mentioned are...

This. Also, they mention a final B-day announcement that already happened last week.

DustFalcon1985: "Two parts isooctane, one part butane, a teaspoon erythrocytes, ten cubic meters carbon dioxide, and one and a half tons of iron-carbon alloy. Mix violently."
Isooctane: A highly flammable liquid, (CH3)2CHCH2C(CH3)3, used to determine the octane ratings of fuels.

Butane: Either of two isomers of a gaseous hydrocarbon, C4H10, produced synthetically from petroleum and used as a household fuel, refrigerant, and aerosol propellant and in the manufacture of synthetic rubber

Erythrocyte: Basically BLOOD

Carbon Dioxide: Bi-product of fossil fuels and serious pollutant

Iron-carbon alloy: Steel is an alloy of iron and carbon.

Also, I found this on the Carmageddon Wikia: The "steel gonad o' death" is a weird unused mode found in Carmageddon II. It's still under research, as it can only currently be activated with the "Super" patch of Carmageddon II

Throw in the "mix violently" and Carmageddon II fits the bill, unless I can be proven wrong next week...

GOG.com: Still more to come from us today, keep an eye out for the final B-Day giveaway announcement.
Oh, the grand finale? :) I guess it's not a new publisher if it's not going to be hyped (assuming this isn't an announcement of an announcement), but this is still certainly exciting.

EDIT: Oh, I guess this is a giveaway, not the grand finale. Ah well, that should be coming up next week or the week after!

I agree with this
LOL

By far the best "easter egg" in one of these videos to date - hilarious :)

Keep up the great work TET and GOG

A lot of things do though - Hi-Octane was already mentioned but Destruction Derby and Flatout 2 / Ultimate Carnage, just of the top of my head, work too!
