You know guys, it was only four days ago that G-doc explicitly said that if they managed to sign LucasArts, they'd tell us, not drop inane Da Vinci Code hints.

I want to believe.

so do i.
And the hype machine is spinning...

Guys, TET deliberately said "this is not a classic release" in this video. Meaning it's an indie game for sure. Eschalon is a must.

I don't feel too good about that. It's not amazing when someone says "we are changing the videos, we will not say classic release but enigmatic release, because in some rare occasions we may not have classic releases in one week"

and they just do this shit a week after they said that.

And what about TET's promise to deliver at least one true classic a week? Who cares, right?

I'm telling you guys, the next week is gonna be... weak.

Maybe they have a deal with LucasArts, maybe they don't. For now, there are no evidence that they have. If it really was LucasArts this week, we wouldn't have some enigmatic riddles or whatever, but huge ass countdown, as always. Because countdowns are dramatic.

it's about. fucking. time.

but he said it's not a classic release per se, so it's a new game that looks like and old one, meaning it's Eschalon and nothing else. Meaning another week without a strict classic release. YAY! And probably two games total in a week. Double YAY!

don't get your hopes high, people.

like BadDecissions said, if GOG.com did get Lucas Arts, they would tell us.

Snickersnack: "Next week's enigmatic release is not as much a classic as a well-executed tribute to classics. Whichever it is, I must admit it makes one hell of a book!"

A long shot but why not:

Ys I & II Chronicles <-- this is the latest remake of the classic Ys: Book I & II.

SCPM: It'd be awesome to have XSEED aboard! They're interested, but it looks like it'll take time:

Oh. Yes. Ys series on GOG. That would be really GREAT. I was looking for Ys series (Origin) besides Steam, just to found out it is only released on Steam. I am still hoping they will get released on GOG.

Anyway. I am not really familiar with history of game release. So I don't know how to solve "the riddle". But it is always interesting to see people try to guess the game
Each Eschalon game was in a Be Mine bundle, so I'm not sure how that would affect sales in the case that game is the release hinted at for next week.

This week was decent for classics (or at least decent old games) in my book. Yeah, I'm lowering my hopes...
I see that TET is as sexy as always... <3

I do hope it is Eschalon - as I am a big fan of isometric turn-based RPGs.

Given that we're in 2013, I think a game from 2007 counts as a potential "classic" release. It's 6 years old, for crying out loud, and most of the games that are hailed as classics now were 6 years old at some point.

Nostalgia is weird like that - a game that is a few years old just seem old, while a game that is twenty or even thirty years old is "retro"...
I wonder if the hinted release will be Tuesday or Thursday?
Bought games again behind my wife's back. I couldn't resist the temptation to play Alpha Centaury and Dungeon Keeper one more time. Err... make that a lot more time. Gonna be whipped around a lot by the missus in the near future though. :D

Buenro-games: Ok who else thinks that The Enigmatic T has been replaced by someone else?

His voice sounds off. :P
No, that was me. Although a few people said that I sounded off that episode. I dunno? I don't hear it either way. ;)

BTW: We will, indeed, have a classic release this week. Have no fear. I dare say you might even like it.
