Here's your chance to grab two excellent real-time strategy titles 66% off! and [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/soldiers_heroes_of_world_war_ii]Soldiers: Heroes of World War II sadly need to be pulled from the list of actively sold games in our catalog due to licensing issues. This will happen on Monday, 9:00 AM GMT. Until that time both titles are available for $3.39 each, so anyone interested in them may consider buying them now and backing up their downloaded copies. We're sorry if this causes you any inconvenience and we assure you that we're working on getting them re-listed again as soon as it's possible.

Perimeter delivers top-notch RTS gameplay in otherworldly setting and spices it up with many original ideas. The game was praised for its innovativity both by critics and GOG.com users. "Every now and then, someone delivers a game that's completely unlike anything seen before. Perimeter is just such a game."--GameSpot wrote in its review, giving it a nice 82% score. Our user, Alteisentier, spoke highly about the game's narrative: "The story is truly a unique experience, that will capture your mind and imagination in its grip, showing you a high level of originality that is unexpected in such games." With the unparalleled gameplay depth provided by the terraforming and nanomorphing mechanics, a fearsome foe born of humanity's worst nightmares, and a brave new world to conquer, Perimeter is a true hidden gem of the RTS genre.

If you prefer a realistic setting for your war effort you should take a closer look at Soldiers: Heroes of World War II. This historically accurate squad-based tactical RTS offers a fully interactive environment and gives you total freedom to gain victory in any way you see fit. The Armchair Empire reviewer said that "tends not to dwell on the exact tank movements of a certain battle in hopes of achieving one hundred percent accuracy. Instead, it focuses its gameplay on real life events albeit with some artistic flair." and gave it a whooping 85% score, while our user Scribe praised the game's physics engine for being "fantastic and very satisfying. Fire an armour piercing shell at the front of a Panzer and it will ricochet off and shatter a tree. Fire one at the back, at the vulnerable engine and fuel tank, and the turret will pop off like a cork and crush a nearby soldier." This title comes complete with an official map editor, so you can extend your time with it indefinitely.

To sum things up: and [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/soldiers_heroes_of_world_war_ii]Soldiers: Heroes of World War II will temporarily disappear from GOG.com catalogue and you have time until Monday, 9:00 AM GMT to grab them 66% off and secure your backup copies!

Once again, we're sorry for any inconvenience this may have cause you!
Epic. Finally a warning. Thanks for that! Already had Perimeter but I'll grab Soldiers now.
Oh yeah, and special thanks for even making it a promo!

Edit: Oh, I did NOT have Perimeter. O_O Well, still a good deal.

Wow, a warning sale? This is a first.
Really appreciate the heads-up for these games. I'm getting sad though since there seem to be more and more titles being pulled down recently.

Also, with the current Square-Enix promo, I'll only be able to get Perimeter of the two. :(
Shit! We're gonna lose Perimeter ? :((

It's not. For the earlier games that disappeared from the catalogue (before I became a GOG member) there apparently had also been warnings. But I think it's the first time that it's a "good bye" promo.
WOW... Warning Sale... I thought I would not spend anything this weekend... seems to be a wrong thought :)
GOG has entered the Age of Heads-Up.Population rejoices! ;)

There was a "possibly goodbye promo" for JoWood, but luckily, they stuck around.
I bet there's no licensing issue with Sensible Soccer 2006 .

Soon there will not be Codemasters catalogue on GOG .

Hopefully this is actually a "see y'all later" promo, as we're working to SECURE THE PERIMETER! ;-D
This is a really great way to deal with a 'pull'. Much kudos to you GOG!
Wow, I'd have thought this would be a risky move for you guys. Kudos for this, hope you don't get in trouble.
I've got both thankfully. Seriously get them while they're still here because they're good.

The difference between the other pulls, is that the licensing is going to expire, so gog knows exactly when they have to pull it and they have no legal problems selling it until then. At least that's how I understand it.

If I remember correctly, there were promos for some racing games from the Codemasters catalogue (Conlin McRae Rally 2005 and TOCA Race Driver), before they removed them from GOG.com
