Until the end of March GOG.com is celebrating the fact that Blitzkrieg, the phenomenal World War II real time strategy series, has been around for a decade now. On our [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/blitzkrieg_anniversary_promo_270313]Blitzkrieg 10th Anniversary Promo you can get both Blitzkrieg Anthology and Blitzkrieg 2 Anthology 60% off. That's only $3.99 for each of this extensive, realistic, and multifaceted strategy gems. Don't miss the opportunity to get yourself hours upon hours of excellent and challenging strategic gameplay that will test your skills as a military commander.

Both games excel in portraying the reality of the World War II campaigns down to detailed unit specifics and equipment. You'll get a chance to recreate the most important battles that served as turning points of mankind's most terrifying conflict up to date. Once you finish all the engaging single-player scenarios, you can challenge your friends online or use the provided map editor to create your very own campaigns.

On a side-note: we've just added the Russian-language versions of both games. If you purchased Blitzkrieg Anthology and Blitzkrieg 2 Anthology before, you can now also download the new language version. If not--here's your chance to get acquainted with that excellent series for just a fraction of the regular price! The offer lasts until Monday, April 1, at 4:59AM GMT.
Nice, I may snap one of these.

But I would get massive nerdgasm if it was Close Combat (any part, really) release instead. Just saying!

Never played them but they look fantastic! Unfortunately I have no funds right now!
Thanks but I prefer the realism and all around strategic brainstorm that is Cannon Fodder. When are those going on sale? :P
I never noticed it before, but the screenshots for Blitzkrieg 2 are huge in comparison to other games. It's actually quite nice except for the fact that it makes navigating a little more difficult...
Hmmm
If you love wargames, if you played Sudden Strike to death and you look for something different - you have to buy this.
Excellent games.
Never played these. So, if I was going for one to try the series out; which would be the one to get?
Finally! The Russian language version! Took you guys long enough to bring it here

Спасибо ГОГ и Нивалу :)
Blitzkrieg 2 is average at best, if you ask me (not bad, mind you - just nowhere near as good as B1). The original is the one to get.

WEll, I liked both of them, but you're right - if anybody wants to buy only one, they should start with Blitzkrieg 1.

(by the way, still waiting for Sudden Strike release here!)
Thanks for a nice promo GOG! :)
