Champion of chitin!

Entomorph: Plague of the Darkfall, a classic "light" RPG set in the original world of Aden, that has been besieged by the beastly minions of the demonic force known as the Darkfall, is available on GOG.com for only $5.99.

I can feel it. I can sense the little changes occurring in me. My breath is shorter, but i don't mind, as if my body didn't need that much oxygen anymore. My skin is slowly turning callous and stiff and it makes this creaky sound, silent but still noticeable. Strange cravings--I couldn't bring myself to eat bread, but raw meat seems more and more appetizing, and after I eat, I'm not getting hungry for days. The dreams are the strangest part. I feel someone--no, something--talking to me without any words. In those dreams I feel a part of something big. I feel like one of the many. Waking up, I feel like own body was a lonely, cold prison. But it's all right. I feel more powerful than ever. Don't mind my eyes. Yes, they don't look human. But then again, I can see the truth now, and you don't look human either, Darkfall spawn. You won't trick me. Prepare to become my dinner.

Entomorph: Plague of the Darkfall is a RPG-ish action-adventure game set in the world of Aden, introduced by the classic FPP dungeon-crawler, Thunderscape. This isn't a sequel though, but a completely stand-alone tale presented by different means. This time we get a top-down view, a single character, and more puzzle and combat-oriented gameplay. With the ability to morph into insect-like beasts to take on your enemies, an intriguing story, and enough in-game content to keep you busy for 40 hours, this classic title deserves to become a part of your collection of PC oldies.

Brave the strange land full of danger and mystery, and become a beast to fight beasts in Entomorph: Plague of the Darkfall, for only $5.99 on GOG.com.

tritone: What do you think that icon is in the "Bonus content" area beside the 1st and 3rd bonus item? Namely, the "intro story" and the "walkthrough"?

It looks like a piece of paper with a pill sitting on it. Is it a sleeping pill? Are these "boring" extras?

Or is it half-full (half-empty) glass of wine, perhaps indicating a so-so piece of bonus?

Maybe it's a lifesaver (seen from the side), like you find on a boat, and these bonus extras are in danger of drowning the entire experience?
It does look like a pill, doesn't it? I'm a nurse, and even I'm confused!
I can tell you though that the amazing soundtrack alone is worth the price (it's gravy that the game is really good, too).

Heh, I was right about posting my review here - even though I've submitted it on the game card it's still not there and I cannot write a new one because the button is disabled. I think I should write to the support team. Again ;P
Think you can get Hasboro to okay putting the other SSI D&D games here as well? I took one look at this, and saw Dark Sun. Then I remembered all of the frame rate problems I had with Wake of the Ravager when I tried it with Dosbox years ago.

Yeah, the review system has actually become a sad, running joke on the forums now. It's been doing this for months,

Good review, btw.

I love how the dude on the art is all like this:

Great to see another world of Eden release.
Beating the crap out of giant bugs with a speed-metal soundtrack. What could be better?
Just a heads up to people that a few of us are reporting some weird bugs with the in-game soundtrack; probably nothing too serious, though it's not clear yet how extensive the problem is. (Mostly it has to do with the wrong tracks playing in the wrong places, but if you never played the game back in the day, you probably won't even notice.)
Hey, fellow GOGers!

Just wanted to thank GOG for allowing me to finish this fantastic game I started, like, 15 years ago and was never able to finish! Made me so happy when I got it on sale.

For those wondering if the game is worth buying, IT IS. The controls are slightly dodgy, yes, but the creativity and uniqueness of the setting is up there with Planescape Torment and Albion. If you love RPGs, you're in for a treat!

Now, Don't know if this is the right place to report a bug (sigh) but I can't seem to find the solution after a search for keywords and Entomorph forums.

SPOILER!!

I've talked to that PITA Healer who told me where to find the treasure in the grave of Zeenena. I go to the place and find her gravestone but it gives no option to give a flower. The other graves do give that option. What did I do wrong? I spoke to the Healer and the children and even examined the rug.

Can any kind soul help? I reloaded and tried several times, even went to talk to the beekeeper, but nuthin.
