Regarding Omerta, even though the combat has no real strategic layer, but for someone new and casual to the turn-based genre like me, it can be pretty challenging on Hard difficulty later. Beside, I don't really feel i could rush everything, just to proceed to the next stage. You always start with limited amount of funds, so you still need to plan your step carefully as you don't want to raise your heat level too quick. You're dealing with the authorities and rival gang.

Personally, i don't think the game is that bad for this discounted price. I can see myself playing this game for few months.

Ghorpm: I knew some people would be disappointed ;) De gustibus et coloribus non est disputandum

SLP2000: Yeah, sure, but no QFG and KQ6?
I wasn't a fan of quest series back then and it hasn't changed. I can perfectly understand why many people love those games and objectively speaking I may agree that they are very good. But personally, I didn't enjoy them that much and therefore I see no reason to replay them now. Simple as that ;)

Shaolin_sKunk: If I didn't have cash right away knowing which bundles were upcoming would actually be quite useful; I'd know how much money I should save so I could pick it up when it appears. Granted if payday were next week or something I'd still have to hope the bundle I wanted doesn't appear until then.

Just a thought.

TheScorpion: Sure but the idea of wait to see what's the next bundle is completely dead now. the last three bundles (including this one) has all been included there already so there are no surprises anymore. The should have waited until the last day I think.
Have to agree.

A very weird way of running a sale, which, with all the repeats, honestly killed all my enthusiasm for it. It hardly seems worth even checking every day. A shame as at started off with a huge bang.

Plus, if it's going to be this dull, why drag the darn thing out for almost three weeks????

I don't agree with 2 new deals a day crowd. Really liked what they did and am perfectly fine even if we don't get any extra bundle in the end. I understand that some might enjoy the anticipation but for me it is the other way. I have a huge backlog of games and pretty much just like everyone limited financial resources so I really appreciated the opportunity to spend them for the games I would enjoy the most. Now, everything would be fine if we knew for sure that GOG would rerun ALL of the deals at the end but without this knowledge the daily bundles put just too much stress on me cause by buying them I risk going over the budget and thus being left with no option to buy any of the future and more preferable ones.

Maybe not everyone is glued to their computers like us so they won't be able to check GOG every day? Naaah! That's crazy talk! =P

But... But.. QfG has multiple skill-based solutions to problems as opposed to idiotic puzzles and random deaths of SQ and KQ. And you can pick your nose with a lockpick!
Does anyone know if Omerta is done with DLC, and these are all they will have? Now that the DLC are at a decent price, I'll consider getting it, but I hate having incomplete games and don't want to spend more for other DLC later.
so, are there only going to be bundle repeats for another 2 weeks?! what's the point of dragging the sale out for another two weeks after all the bundles and dailies have already been posted?

each bundle is only going to return once so you still have be glued to your computer to catch it. might as well have paid attention the first time it was on sale.

For kicks. Or to have a reason not to release any classics. They said, there won't be any till the sale's over.
The sierra bundle is so hard to buy. They are all on my wishlist but I just got a feeling that they will be on sale again before I play them plus I have a feeling that they will be 75% off

So hard

I've already admitted that objectively those games are very good. I also agree that Quest for Glory is by far the best franchise from all quest games. But games that are loved by everybody simply do not exist. I finished three of four QfG titles years ago and as I said before - I found them mildly enjoyable. I've seen my friend playing them quite recently and I realized that nowadays they would be even less enjoyable for me. Why should I bother playing them again?

Noone knows for sure. Personally, I find $11 for the experience a good price, and I would check later DLCs as they were released. If you would rather wait for a "Complete Edition", wait for it. I don't think there will be one in the next 6 months, but maybe there will be one for either summer 2014 or christmas 2014. If you would rather wait than buy a game that may miss a DLC or two, I'd suggest you wait.

For my thoughts on Omerta, see my previous posts in this thread.

The point is not everyone had a chance to buy those games that day.

That's what I'll probably do then. If I could wait a year and a half for Skyrim to do it, I think I can wait for a game I'm less interested in. I just wasn't sure if it was announced that they were done or had more coming.

Thanks!
