This is a test. Stay calm and buy game series bundles.

Let's try something new. We know that GOG.com users love to have complete collections of game series on their shelves. There's nothing nicer than a row of virtual boxes containing every single game from a series that you hold dear. We appreciate the completionist approach--after all we try our best to have a complete collection of the best games in history in our offer (and we'll never stop following that goal). So, we thought that we might as well make completing a whole game series on GOG.com easier and more rewarding. Introducing: Game Series Bundles on GOG.com!

We offer you the chance to get various complete game series with a 15% up to 55% off discount. If a game belongs to such series, you will find a new button on the game page, which lets you buy a bundle that includes the whole series instead of a single title. It will also display how much you'll save on that deal. If you already own a game from that series, you can still complete the bundle, getting the missing games with the discount. The discount rate is flat, only applies when you get the whole bundle, and varies from series to series.

Just go to any game from the series that grabs your attention to find the new "buy series" button right under the regular "add to cart" button. Once you click it, the games you're missing from the series (whether it's all of them or even just one) will be added to your shopping cart with a discount applied.

Please keep in mind--this is something we're just testing now. If it turns out that this sort of deal is popular with you and that it makes sense for us, we'll keep the Game Series Bundles as a permanent site feature and work towards adding more of them to our offer. For the time being, you get the bundle deals on all the series mentioned below:

7th Guest Bundle :
The 7th Guest + The 11th Hour

Better late than never. Great feature, especially for those who have just joined GoG.
Thanks for the new feature, it's great!

The question is, have you had a lot of interest/purchases?
I ask because I'd love to see it as a permanent feature with new bundles being added once a 'collection/series' is completely added to GOG.com.

Any chance you can now add:
Broken Sword: Director's Cut + The Original Game
Broken Sword 2: Remastered + The Original Game
Broken Sword 3: The Sleeping Dragon (November 17, 2003)
Broken Sword 4: The Angel of Death (Secrets of the Ark) (January 26, 2007)

and

BloodRayne
BloodRayne 2

;P
Personally think this is a great idea! I love buying bundles of games, not only for the opportunity to play them all but it's easier to convince myself that it's economical to buy more when they are things I would like to buy anyway.

Unfortunately for me, with the current bundles, I've already bought up all the pieces of the series that I want to play so I can't take advantage of this yet...

celtiicdruid83: No Fallout Bundle????
This is just a test at the moment to see how the whole idea is going down with the community. I suspect we would see a FO Bundle eventually if people really take to the idea.

SpiderFighter: Now THIS is a great idea that makes a ton of sense.

GoG, most people in this thread seem to be saying, "Thanks, but we already have these/the bundles I really want you're not yet offering."

I'd say you're not getting nearly an accurate response as to how successful an idea this is through purchases at this point in time (they'll likely come from new GoGgers)..
Agreed. I've been on here long enough that I've bought up pretty much almost all the current series that interest me. BUT I seriously love this idea and especially see the potential for new GOGers and for new series brought in by new (hopeful!) publisher agreements. I 100% support this addition to the website.

Why would people not take to the idea? Are marginal discounts really so controversial to us old fusspots?

To be honest? I have no idea why they wouldn't. If you read through the thread you can still see (personal) complaints though. The complaints are beyond me, but they to apparently exist.
I dont see a Blood or Thief bundle in that list.

Why is it that only RPG games get all the sales?
(I know thats not true, but still, seems like it, hehe)

And, yes, I love the idea of bundling.
:)
These bundles are awesome.

Already own a few of these from previous sales, but implementing this is a great idea IMO.

Now if we could only get a Myst bundle going... *WINK WINK NUDGE NUDGE*
I agree it would be great to see other bundles too. Or maybe since they said these are a "test", we might cycle different bundles in and out.
I am an OCD collector of RPGs, so I will be alll over this. Thanks for coming out with this option. I used to find myself having to go the Steam route simply because of the prices of bundles was better, but I always prefer GOG.

I don't see the option to buy the series on the Gothic games. It would be nice if you would apply at least a 15% discount to EVERY series you offer.

Also, since you list deals on the main page, and you do not offer bundles for all series, you should have the option to let customers view what bundles are available right on the main page.
