If we win, do we get a GOG-den Joystick Award?

Wa-hoo! We've been nominated in the category for "Best Platform" for the Golden Joystick awards for 2013. The Golden Joystick Awards are unique in that they're gaming awards that are determined by the votes of the gaming community--that's you! Whether you think GOG.com should win or not, please do take a moment and cast a vote in the different categories.

Click here to vote for best platform, 2013!

Note that it appears that you need to have an account with the guys at CVG for your vote to actually be counted, so if you're serious about supporting your favorite game distribution platform--or any other category nominee--take the extra moment to register. While you're there, consider casting a vote for our friends at CDP RED for "Most Wanted" and look at all of the titles nominated for "Best Indie Game" that you can already pick up right here on GOG.com!

Of course we voted for GOG.com as best platform, but some of these other ones are devilsh for us to decide on. Best storytelling? Innovation of the year? There are a lot of good choices! After you've voted, leave a comment below and tell us what you selected this year. :)
Man, what crappy choices. That certainly wasn't the best year in gaming. GOG got my vote, though.
I voted the Creative assembly the other day I think ...I may have been a bit hasty.
I put down the walking dead for best storytelling, so when are we getting that on GOG?
Good luck guys! :D

Dawnbringer: Voted for you guys!
Only place that I have a 445+ game collection on... keep the games pouring... as my bank balance keeps on declining!

:D

Dude, you can't pay more than me on here; I already purchased like nearly 4/5 of the game catalogue on here, NEVER regretted it!

:P

Waiting for Xmas to buy some 50 + more games!

Davane: Want a bet? ;-)

Hopefully, when the next big deal comes alone, I can complete the collection! :D
Hah! ;)
Voted. Now where's the 'broken joystick' awards, so I can vote for the Wii-U as the worst platform?
I voted for GOG the first time this was posted here :)

I hope you guys win! But if you don't, your still #1 in my book (and on my computer) !

470+ games and counting! And there's still plenty more to buy! Do we get a special prize when we get to the big 500? :-D

I'm aiming to get my gog collection to some 510 games soon; only did not buy much games here lately as I just started adding to my steam games list too; bought some 240 steam games in these last 3 weeks or so, so my Visa is terribly spent out (besides I have nearly all the games I wanted from gog either on gog (95 % of them) or on steam (like amnesia and others). Steam does some epic fails sometimes though, like some funny as hell stuff I noticed lately... they were listing a game on steam when in the screenshots of the game, one of the characters was listed as 'GoGer' and I barely think they were paying tribute to GoG, though they had gotten this port from GoG, it was Wizardry 6 or 7 (Can't remember), look it up!

Hahahaha.

Typical. But I hugely disagree with Steam, so I refuse to purchase any games from Steam under any circumstances.
Voted for GOG! Hope it wins Best Platform!
