If we win, do we get a GOG-den Joystick Award?

Wa-hoo! We've been nominated in the category for "Best Platform" for the Golden Joystick awards for 2013. The Golden Joystick Awards are unique in that they're gaming awards that are determined by the votes of the gaming community--that's you! Whether you think GOG.com should win or not, please do take a moment and cast a vote in the different categories.

Click here to vote for best platform, 2013!

Note that it appears that you need to have an account with the guys at CVG for your vote to actually be counted, so if you're serious about supporting your favorite game distribution platform--or any other category nominee--take the extra moment to register. While you're there, consider casting a vote for our friends at CDP RED for "Most Wanted" and look at all of the titles nominated for "Best Indie Game" that you can already pick up right here on GOG.com!

Of course we voted for GOG.com as best platform, but some of these other ones are devilsh for us to decide on. Best storytelling? Innovation of the year? There are a lot of good choices! After you've voted, leave a comment below and tell us what you selected this year. :)
voted GOG, TW3 and TellTale Games
GOG.com and Dark Souls II... sorry CDP RED, but unless you're bribing with free games on GOG.com, I'm not gonna consider Witcher 3 as something to look forward to!
It was a no-brainer to vote for GOG in the "best platform" category. Indeed, in my opinion, it's pretty much the only decent platform left...

Of the Indie games, I'd only played FTL - so that got my vote. Maybe you need to try harder to get the other contenders on here for us to actually try? I sense an upcoming deal for these might be nice...

It's sad that I actually found myself going "WTF!?" during most, if not all, of the other categories. Has the gaming industry really become so dead that there's no games I actually know anything about, largely through lack of interest?

Perhaps we should host our own awards here at GOG.com, to celebrate classic and indie games that are fun and enjoyable. It would certainly make the choices much more difficult in each category!
Wow... they have probably the most confusing registration process I think I ever used... I voted for one category and then realized I had to sign up to submit my votes... so okay, I signed up... then it threw me into this section to choose my country... so I did that, but then I hit Submit and didn't fackin realize that submitted ALL my (1) vote... AND I CAN'T VOTE FOR THE "SKIPPED" CATEGORIES!!!! WTF!?... *so pissed*
Registered and voted :-)
GOG offers best games with bonuses DRM-free to PC gamers. With or without Golden Joystick it's already won people awards.
I already voted multiple times in the place where it most counts: The Gold Visa Award.
What is the deadliiiiine!

Seriously though, when is it? I am a tad swamped at the moment.
Just voted for you guys without hesitation! Also, Witcher 3 from CDP RED is definitely my Most Wanted. GOG is my preferred go-to place for games. I'll pay more HERE to support you and your DRM-free approach to gaming.

Thanks!
Voted for you guys!
Only place that I have a 445+ game collection on... keep the games pouring... as my bank balance keeps on declining!

Dude, you can't pay more than me on here; I already purchased like nearly 4/5 of the game catalogue on here, NEVER regretted it!

:P

Waiting for Xmas to buy some 50 + more games!

Voted for GOG and Witcher 3
Ok second reminder did it, signed up and voted almost twice (firefox crashed in the middle of it first time around, due to my tabs addiction and firefox just not handling it).

Now lets see if we can win over steam (and a few more developers while we are at it :)
Voted! You guys deserve this so much more than Steam or the other Platforms.
