How well do you know GOG.com?

GOG.com 5th birthday celebration continues, and we came up with some fun activities essential to every nerd party in the universe. Namely, we want to play some trivia with you! There will be prizes, of course, because there have to be gifts in a birthday celebration. Since it is our party, you get to keep the gifts! We wouldn't have it any other way. But, just to make it more fun, you'll have to put some effort into getting them. For the next couple of days (let's say: until Sunday), we'll post a daily activity for you. A quiz, a puzzle, some trivia--you know: fun stuff. Each day you'll get a chance to prove your gaming knowledge and familiarity with GOG.com for a chance to get some free games. Our activity of choice today: a GOG.com useless knowledge quiz, brought to you by Pictie the Unhappy, our very own media representative!

Are the answers reviewed by a human or is this process automated?
avatar
Arthandas: I pity people who're saying the first question is the hardest.
Counting it is easy, the problem comes when number doesn't exactly match and it can bring confusion.

@UP
Should be automated, it is not something that machine can't handle.

The fun part is you can actually google all those things :P "How many hours in 5 years" and so forth .

Automated - begging and bribing won't help you. ;o)

I'd say bribing one's way toward winning a $9.99 game is not particularly profitable.
Great quiz, GOG.

How do you know?
So if I for example didn't use a colon in my answer format I'm automatically disqualified? :)

It's true, but technically GOG is 5 years and 57 or 58 days old :D

I sent them half an hour or so ago, but only now noticed there was a specific format, so I resent them. Will this affect me in a bad way?
I've just send my answers only to find that I've made stupid mistake. Ehh, anyway. It was great fun!
I sent an email, checked further on #15, found out I had the wrong answer. I really hope a follow-up email is not grounds for disqualification.

Also: #1 is quite easy, it's #2 and #6 are the ones almost impossible to be sure of.

LOL ! I needed 2 minutes of googling to figure out 2 :P

Damn...

Starmaker: I'd say bribing one's way toward winning a $9.99 game is not particularly profitable.
Mhh,...not sure...let's assume 20 people offer $5,99 to get a game for $9,99...20 x 5,99 = $119,80 (aka: a monthly salary at GOG.com) - yeah, could lead someone in temptation ;o)

avatar
Arthandas: How do you know?
Actually, I don't...I was just kidding...or wasn't I? ;o)

Nope, read the full sentence - ...this is just an example!...

edit: I mean this sentence - Send your answers (in the format 1:a, 2:b, 3:a, etc.--this is just an example!) to contest@gog.com with the subject QUIZ.
