Hogs of War
Late last night, Dune 2000 at last (all three campaigns at the hardest difficulty).

It took me quite a few weeks (months) to finally beat it, probably because I suffer from a perfection disease where I don't want to lose even one building to the enemy, sometimes not even one (mechanical) unit etc. So lots and lots of reloading of save games, many times restarting the whole mission because I felt I had built the home base wrong etc.

This was actually the first time I have completed Dune 2000 even though I've had it for so many years. Even though it felt quite a bit different RTS from its predecessor, in general this was quite a good remake beating the original Dune 2, especially nice was that this didn't suffer from the "too many units on the level at the same time" bug that could make many later Dune 2 missions unplayable, having to restart the mission. The only thing I missed in this version was the context-sensitivive music of the original, ie. separate combat music etc.

Next... either complete KKND and Warcraft 2 BNE, or try if Dark Reign 1-2 (from GOG) are any good... For some reason I just can't get myself to continue Baldur's Gate, even though I should. I feel I could even replay Dune 2000 at some point, but I really should look into some unplayed/unfinished games.

Damn, now I got an urge to replay Starcraft and Age of Empires/Mythology series as well, as if I hadn't played them through enough many times already...

EDIT: Not to mention "Emperor: Battle of Dune" of course, which I completed in the past but it also left me with an urge to replay at some point. It's just another RTS game that left such a sweet aftertaste in my mouth.

Well. I just finished standard game of Alpha Centauri on some average difficulty level as University.

Mid point of the game after discovering planet busters everyone declared war on me (before i used it) Enemy planes were bombarding my formers, couldn't do anything just try to hunt them after they killed my units. So I said screw it and start shooting everything with busters. Half of peacekeepers cities (strongest faction in the game, more than I) disappeared in a blast. was fun for a while but didn't want to continue the game like that so i reload the game before i finished my first buster and scrapped it. never used it and finally managed to achieve transcendence (bought the project for 13K)

Great game. want to play as spartans now and just colonize everything and blow up everyone.
I've only been playing since October, but this year I have played and beaten (in order):

Might & Magic VI
Restaurant Empire
Knights of the Old Republic
Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords

I'm soon moving on to Stronghold and Heroes of Might & Magic III.
Breath of Death VII
Finished Broken Sword DC. The Nico parts stuck out pretty badly.

And while I actually finished it several months ago, I got all the tokens in VVVVVV last night.
Finished Baldur's Gate for the first time :)
(Playing with Baldur's Gate Trilogy so just started SOA but no chance to finish it this year)

Add that to the list for this year:
Final Fantasy 1,2,4,5,6 Advance (GBA ... handily while at work)
Eye of the Beholder (Amiga - emulated)
The Witcher
(edit) Lure of the Temptress (GOG version, though I finished it on the Amiga when it first came out)
Castle Quest (BBC micro B - emulated)
Broken Sword (original cut from GOG - will try the DC another time)
and now Baldur's Gate + TOTSC

Did you play Cthuhlu Saves the World? I haven't finished it yet but it is really funny...

As for me, it's too long a list since I have no real life, but playing through Fallout1, FO2, & FO:NV were the highpoints for me!

Didn't play FO3...it was the only one I couldn't find on sale for dirt cheap.
