SimonG: It's pretty much like The Matrix. Also extreme cliffhanger ending, but it is enjoyable on its own. (If only there were no sequels...)

gameon: I actually liked matrix reloaded, it was revelations that made me cringe.
There were no sequels to The Matrix. It would have been interesting to see how it would have continued, but in a way I'm glad that they never made one. Sometimes no sequel is better than a bad sequel, and I would not want anything to tarnish my good memory of The Matrix (even if I find the movie to be a bit overrated).

Anyway, not played Enclave, but Advent Rising was an enjoyable game. The story was really good, and the soundtrack was outstanding. Horrible cliffhanger ending though (as others pointed out) and no sequel :(
On the other hand, I'm not all that fond of Orson Scott Card, due to his opinion on homosexuals, so I don't know if I would actually want him to have the extra money that another game would bring...
Hello,

Advent rising is not playable to the end for me. If you are lucky like me your savegame will be corrupted more and more. I was never able to finish it. The xbox version had the same problem. So i would say no to Advent rising, it would be nice little game without the technical bugs but not so with corrupted savegames. I tried to find a workaround in the internet but got no luck. The unpatched Advent rising version here is not worth the money.

I would spent my money on enclave if you are into beatemups. Enclave is a beatemup in 3d edit: third person view with some puzzles, simple character customization etc.

Have a nice day.

Have you given Advent Revising unofficial patch a try?

EDIT: When I played and finished it I used the above patch, so I have no idea how Advent Rising runs without it.

Damn, there goes my blissful ignorance. What an asshole. Now I don't want a sequel anymore ...

I played the unpatched version back when it came out. And I didn't have any problems, so it looks like it is hit and miss.

I played only the gog.com version not the xbox one. I read about some bugs in the release version when trying to solve my savegame corruption problem.

Have a nice day
