JudasIscariot: Would you rather we didn't change it? :P

Ophelium: No, I was just marveling at the speed you guys work at :D
Ahh, well, thanks I suppose :)

lugum: Looking at the rating its more something against the game.

KneeTheCap: I bet a 9,99 gog that the poor rating is solely because of the DLC's. Just look back at the threads when the first piece of DLC got around...
The DLC is part of it. But the majority of the poor rating is the fact that it's 39.99 and it was a buggy mess when it was released. I am horrible at strategy games and I can play this without difficulty (personally, I do like Omerta). So adding on minimal content onto something that was initially broken just pissed a bunch of people off. But Omerta does have its good points now (at least, in my eyes).

Ophelium: Changed the box for Omerta on us already, eh? Good show :)

Old DLC's added the package ? I only bought one but it says include 4 DLC's but in my library it says +1 DLC . Confusing :S
While I quite like playing Omerta, I am waiting for some solid review before buying this time :D
I really don't like the size of that DLC :D It must be something wrong with it :D It is much bigger than "Full Edition"!!!! :D Hope it is not filled artificially with empty files to avoid bitching about 10MB DLC for $17 :D

Arteveld: Reminds me of the time i bought a Dawn of War 'diamond collection' from CDP, a few months later they released another expansion, not so diamond anymore. Or Tropico 4, once the DLC storm was over, i bought it on a sale, and they released a new one just a week later. I'll wait for DLC'ed games to get a "complete" edition before buying.
It's apparently impossible to know. Omerta was being sold as a "complete" version for all intents and purposes and now, here we are.
I played Omerta some months ago and enjoyed it. But as I'm not going to play it again in the near future (except for some multiplayer matches maybe), I don't think I will buy this at full price.

But can you please tell me how many missions there are in this all-new campaign? Just a few or is it a full-length-campain comparable to the original one?
Just one question - while Omerta "Full Edition" is also for OSX, game cart for this DLC here says it is Windows only...
I checked Steam version and it is for OSX there too...
So how it is? It is only small mistake on the game card?

Isnt this what the addon is for? A challenging AI that makes things interesting on random maps after you finished the linear hand holding mode?

Don't think so. This seems to be a new campaign. The once more improved AI for sandbox mode (as well as some new buildings and maps) will come with a free content update that isn't here yet:

Cool thanks, so no need to buy this then

Edit: But plenty of reason to finally get the original collection!

The first 4 DLCs are part of Omerta: City of Gangsters as the base game has been combined with the Damsel in Distress, The Con Artist, The Arms Industry, and the Bulgarian Colossus DLCs :)

Once we get the Mac version we'll put it up but as of right now we don't have it yet, sorry :/

I need to get around to playing Omerta. It didn't like my Vista computer, so I'm hoping it will like 8.

KneeTheCap: DLC? You don't want it, don't buy it,

jamyskis: , daily deals/inclusions in indie bundles are often motivated by an upcoming expansion pack/DLC. Such tactics are designed to appeal to the completionist urges of certain gamers.
Those who are gamers are completionist, they even include unofficial releases such as good mods and fanpatch in completionism.
Usual bad/expensive DLCs use this.
DLCs are sold after the main game, and at this fistly release it is not warn that some DLCs are planned to increase artificially the cost of the game. So, else we don't buy have an uncomplete game, else we pay more than said at first for small and/or bad content.
This game seems like so much fun. Too bad it gets so panned in the ratings, but I really really want to do the whole gangster plaything... Maybe in the upcoming end of year sale.
