This game freaking lags. I only get acceptable performance @800x600

tinyE: I figured it out. Some stupid kid choked to death on Cryostasis and so they are pulling it out of circulation. Similar thing happened with lawn darts.
We can now destroy Activision's empire of evil. All it takes is a couple of kids..

This is a guess but it could have something to do with the developer Action Forms.

From wiki it says that Action Forms is now dormant and the deal between them and 1C Publishing may of ended.

That explains it getting pulled from everywhere at the same time.

Wasn't it published here and on gamersgate by 1c? Are there any news btw. about the reason why the Space Rangers series was removed, which was also published by 1c?

Hey everyone,

The rights for the game have changed hands meaning we're unable to keep selling it.

We're working on getting it back though and will try to return it to sale as soon as possible.

You should always marinate your lawn darts in bleach to soften them up before eating.

Damn. Cryostasis is a decent game. Survival horror style. I'm glad i have it on GOG. I even made a physical cover for it in the cover thread.

Shame it's being taken away!!!
