Quite dissappointed with how long its taken gog to arrange this.

I forgot to even sign up for it. I never clicked on the link to see if there was an alternate, I just said "Well, good for everyone else" and left it at that.

Probally will not buy any games then their loss.

If you want to buy games in the sale you shouldn't let a potential gift put you off. Even if its a free gift code you'd be better off saving it and using it on a new full price game after the sale.

Uhm... they stated "Please be aware that we will contact you about the offer before December 31." So yeah, it was clear that it will take that much time to get it.
Possible reasons? They'll probably have to check each and every one about what they already own, so that they don't try to gift a game you have.
Now not taking advantage of their great offer because of this, is surely not only their loss.

I just want to make sure I don't end up buying a game they may give me for free - like the one Tex Murphy game I don't own. :\

It will be something to do with a new game addition to the website in my opinion... otherwise they just would've handed out something already.
