"In a new deal with classic gaming Web site Good Old Games (GOG.com), game publisher Activision is rereleasing many of its classic titles in a DRM-free format. Two of the games are available starting January 28 ..."
Activision had lots of great games, this is better news than I had been expecting!

Yeah apparently. I haven't been reading the boards in a while lulz. Still, it's better than I had been expecting. I'm hoping the mechwarrior games come back.

I would buy them even just to make the point that people still love giant robot games. Seriously, make more, says me. And I never even cared for giant robots much.. But the FASA stuff makes for incredibly good games.

That other thread is starting to annoy me with all the people who are still guessing, lol.
Im so looking forward to Mechwarrior 2, but till then Arcanum will be taking up most of my time.

Im so looking forward to Mechwarrior 2, but till then Arcanum will be taking up most of my time.

start grabbing all the patches and mods from Terra Arcanum then if your gonna buy it. The weightless ammo is a must! lol

So, if it's true, if Activision comes to GOG (and i'll know in about 3 hours now), I'm glad, but i'm still searching in what Activision qualifies for "the unexcelled" ??

Well, CNET was first I take it, so anybody else publishing about it during the day will probably have gotten the story from there.
I'm pretty sure it's official though. It's now only 2 1/2 hours until the official announcement on the site, and blowing the whistle just a little early is a good way to attract more attention to the site. Especially if they really are launching the likes of Arcanum and Gabriel Knight today.
Guess I'll be taking an early lunch today, and have my credit card handy for later.
