Just to know, am I the only one with trouble when trying to buy stuff right now, or is it a widespread issue? Because if it's me, I need to figure something out before the promos run out.
I didn't have any problems purchasing Avadon.

I am not the expert on payment issues but could it be that you've changed locations recently? I noticed that you have Nicaragua set as your location here on the forums..

edit: if it's not the location, then please send a ticket to Support :)

This is also happening to me just now trying to purchase 'Papers, Please'.

Tried both PayPal and a card and getting the error for both.

The only change of location for me would be a few days ago I signed in whilst at my girlfriend's house to pick up a few things that were on offer but even at that, she's only about 10 minutes down the road.

As I said, please write a support ticket and we'll do our best to help you out :)

I got the same issue, it's not just you. :)

Edit: I'll try again later before contacting support.

As we say in English - it appears to be fucked!

Yes, it does but we'll make sure it gets the "un" prefix sooner than later :)
Thought I should quickly update, I've got it fixed now thanks to a post in another thread although I'm not entirely sure what's caused the problem to occur or why it had an effect on both trying to pay by card and PayPal.

I went to PayPal.com, logged in then logged out and I was able to buy the game.
Had the same issue when trying to purchase "Papers, Please" through PayPal, but kept trying and finally the payment went through. However, I noticed that the PayPal server was very slow, so the problem may be on PayPal's end.

Bah. Seems the problem was kind of solved while I was typing.

Yeah, I did change the location, and it will probably be Guatemala next week. But that's the usual business for me, and I already bought Rune from Nicaragua a few days ago.

I'll contact them if it persists for a while.

EDIT: Just retried and it went through, so that's that.

The good news: The payment succeeded!
The bad news: The payment succeeded!... and now I have Amnesia Dark Descent. I'm as good as dead. :P

In the past when such things have happened, GOG support has made good even if it was after the fact. They're very responsive and IMHO go beyond the call of duty so I'd recommend just popping them a friendly note to let them know the situation. Hope this helps!

Update: I just woke up and um... Doh, I didn't read the whole thread before posting. Sorry for not paying attention! :)
