So I put a pineapple in your Poland so you can... learn Polish while... you see Poland?

Anyway, forced memes aside, I'm going to be going to Poland again tomorrow, and I'll stay for an inderterminate amount of time. Could be another week, could be until April. I have no clue. And because I have no clue, I want to test the waters for the chance of learning some Polish. Because why the hell not. And I thought of asking here, because I had the crazy impresion that there would be people who know about language classes for foreigners around this forum.

So, I'd be interested in knowing about what options there are. Last year I was in Slovakia for a while, and all I could find where intensive 4+ hour a day courses or expensive 1 on 1 lessons. I don't care about any of those. I don't need to learn Polish, it's mostly done as a hobby, and I also care a lot about going to class in a group so I can meet people to hang out with. Something like a couple hours on Tuesday and Thursday would be great.

I'll ask around once I get there, but if anybody can give me a tip I'd appreciate it.
Where exactly?
Here's one of the most important lessons in polish language, seriously

Sorry then :( I thought I could suggest something but it's way too far.

Well, that's too bad. Then again, if it's interesting, just drop it. I don't have long term plans at the moment, so if it tickles my fancy, I might drop by to check it out.

Check your PM.
OK, it seems I'll be staying around for a while, with loosely a couple meetings a week in Warsaw. So I'll have a to have a more propper look into Polish classes after all, as well as maybe some cheap appartment. Could be nice to have my own place for a while. Otherwise I'll just be moving around the country as much as possible.
The only place left for P1na to travel to now, is Mars...

I recommend you watch the movie Deliverance before you make that decision.

In my experience, reality is scarier than fiction.

Warsaw, eh? My GF teaches English vor a living and also sometimes teaches (usually English) foreigners Polish. If you don't find anything better you can probably get private lessons from her cheap. And she's excellent at what she does and passionate about it.
