No seriously... I go looking for pics of cartoons (& characters from said cartoons) from my childhood on google... Be it Pokemon, Catdog, Hey Arnold or (most disturbingly of all) Rugrats I without fail run into some form of porn.

Who draws this kind of shit... I mean seriously.
Yup someone posted some Asterix and Obelix 'nudes' some time ago. Goodbye childhood.

Rule 34...

I'm sorry, it's a rule... You know, as in a law, and not adhering to the strict code of the law... can have... consequences.

We don't know which ones exactly, but the Mayans gave an ultimatum that defaults somewhere around the end of the year 2012. I just hope we can Rule34 everything in sight before that date comes.

Well I was watching Hey Arnold on TV a few minutes ago & I decided to look up some pics of the characters. The page was refusing to load & as a result I accidentally clicked on a pic of one of the characters in an *ahem* suggestive position. She was grown up in the pic.... but it was still rather disturbing to see this character like this. Feels dirty y'know.... never will I be able to see that character again without thinking of that image.
Welcome to the internet, where desensitisation to everything is highly recommended. Enjoy your stay.
yes its always the same.
the first page will show you porn.
then after a few pages the things you need will show up :)

I actually did... locked that shit too.
I work on childrens' mags. I need to google a lot of things to get the information I need. So yeah, you're not alone. There's some deeply wrong shit out there. Then below that there's the internet.

I never found them disturbing, just plain stupid.
The internet. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.

That and when searching for stuff, you will find the oddest dam things. That have nothing to do with what you are searching for.
Actually, it's an axiom of image searches in general. ANY image search term will contain pornography in the results, even with SafeSearch on. As uruk said, you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy than on the internet.
I personally find it hilarious.

It's kind of inevitable. I suspect it's more common for cartoons and things that are seen about the time one hits puberty. At some point, I suppose being attracted to something that was legitimate when you first saw it becomes creepy and wrong. But that doesn't automatically erase the association that's been formed.
Y'know what I hate?

No, you don't.

Isn't it nice when people keep their opinions to themselves ?
