Well, I was thinking about doing another puzzle giveaway, and since ZFR's last puzzle has been solved (thanks again for that one!), I thought I might jump in now, before time slips away again...

About two years ago, I met a certain animal up close for the first time.
I had seen that kind before, but always from rather far away, and had never realised they made such a peculiar sound...
So, to share that fact with the world, why not use it for a wee little puzzle?

The puzzle is pretty straight forward, and shouldn't be that hard (I hope), so no need to search for hidden clues or anything of the sort.
Just figure out what the animal in question is, and start decoding :) (yes, there's a gog key in there).

Noisy animal
(If you're having trouble with the sound, let me know, and I'll try to figure out another way to share this...)

Not-so-random letters:
XQOQ WINB JEBN OGTM ZAZZ RTQX BISX HZON IOZA ZBJA
VTUZ GZSU IYFU GXFI PXDX AKDC VOXO ODWO ZOJO

Hint 1: So, to narrow it down slightly, here's what noisy animal eats.

Hint 2: To make it a bit easier, our noisy animal may also make this sound every now and then ;)

Hint 3: So, a bit difficult to find a clue that provides just the right amount of help...
The digestive system pictured does not actually belong to the noisy animal, although you might think so... Google should really proove quite helpful here ;)

Hint 4: Here's to hoping that this will get any stragglers on the right track ;)

Hmmmmmmmmm :)
Sounds like this was recorded in a zoo - is this animal native to Germany or are we thinking world-wide here?

Nope, it's not native to Germany :) Although there's quite a few of them living here now...
OMG that animal eats shovels!!! Is it the Iron Giant?

TheBigLLS: OMG that animal eats shovels!!! Is it the Iron Giant?
Naw, this one's way cuddlier, and furrier ;)
Also, another hint added...
Is it a camel or a llama perhaps?

The new sound, sounds like an iron giant eating a metal piece. So my official guess... I mean fact! stays strong.
Woolly mammoth! Obviously.

Yup, no idea ;)

Haven't had much time to work on this. Wallaby, maybe?

It's invasive to England/France/Germany, though not in numbers, and has a diet consisting of various grasses. Most other species that eat grass aren't cuddly, and vice versa.
On the off chance you made a mistake, there are only 9 groups of words in the second line. Is that correct?

I assume the answer is a gog code?

As for the sound, is it some kind of rodent? A chinchilla?

Do they live there on captivity or in the wild?

Well, this one is cuddlier than the iron giant, sorry if that was misleading... it's kind of cuddly, but definitely quite cute :)

They live only in captivity in Germany, and wikipedia tells me they can't be found in the wild anywhere.

Yes, there is a gog code to be found here (I did remember to put it in the OP this time ;) ).

The code posted is correct, I had to do some slight alteration to it to disallow for brute forcing, hence the strange number of letters. Thanks for watching out, though!

And no, it is not a rodent :)

Ah, woolly mammoths, gotta love them... I'd almost travel to syberia to meet one! Almost...

Well, unicorns don't live in the wild, and they're certainly cute. Pretty sure they also eat hay.

I'm assuming it's hay or some grass variant - hard to say distinctly at the resolution. Doesn't look quite enough like bamboo, and while pandas are endangered, there are still a few thousand left in the wild.

I haven't even looked at the code other than noting the two lines were of unequal length, which made it unclear if it was really one long line with an enjambment, or two lines where the unequal length is a clue.

Hoping I'll have a bit more time to ...chew... on it come the weekend.
All in favor of hint 3, say "ngoooo ooo hoooo".
