Raaah that really sucks. This game is way not ahead of my priorities but I guess I'll have to buy it then. Hope such a thing won't happen with the rest of the Ubisoft catalog (Beyond Good and Evil, the Rayman serie etc)

Good game, art style still looks cool at high res with forced AA.

Still, the save system almost kills the whole thing.

underrated game

Well it SHOULD be.

One of my favorite shooters ever. Just behind NOLF. On a par with rebellion's AvP and lucasarts' outlaws, in terms of sheer enjoyability. I hate most shooters because they are not enough like XIII.

Like NOLF, XIII is a shooter that provides fun and style like I don't expect any other fps to. I lower my expectations, to be able to enjoy other fpses.

I think XIII should be played. And I think XIII should be emulated by other games. This is where I stand. Its removal is a significant loss for gog.

So what if I want to buy the game and it's gone? Do I have to pirate it?

This is why I hate when DD services pull games. Valve did it with several and now the ONLY way to play stuff like Railroads is to either go retail (ugh) or pirate.

I hope this is only temporary, and Ubisoft being at fault would be unsurprising seeing how they are a company rife with issues like stupid uPlay DRM.

Not really, you could simply miss out on it. It's just a game.

Is there a reason as to why?

There's a PS2 version and a disc-based PC version. They're both super cheap.

Also, seriously fuck whatever suit at Ubisoft's lair decided it was fine to take this game out of the store.

Don't forget Gamecube and Xbox as well. :P

I really wouldn't worry about that right now. The reason why XII is being pulled is because it was made using a licence and more then likely Ubisoft's rights to said licence has finally or is about to expire Beyond Good and Evil and Rayman on the other hand were ip's created by Ubisoft themselves so unless Ubisoft decides to sell them off, Ubisoft goes under,or is purchased by another company there is little worry about them getting pulled.

It was on my wishlist for a long time and I was planning to buy it later. But I guess there is no later. Time to use my credit card again...
