Seriously, what? Why does this even needs a Might & Magic licence tacked on it (aside from the obvious moneyhats)? Art looks nice enough but I'm a huge fan of original Might and Magic (Heroes of mainly) so this somewhat grinds my gears.
Becaaause of the background and story, same reason Dark Messiah had 'Might and Magic' attached to it? (or, for that matter, even heroes :D )

True taking the franchise to other venues isnt new for Might and Magic. In this case though it seems like just an obvious cash in on Puzzle Quest to me but hell, who knows, it might actually be good. The whole anime/manga isn't exactly my thing but whatever. :/

Well let's just say if the story is good, I'm all for it. Since I take manga style just as another way of telling stories, thus I have nothing against it, it might be good. Might. That doesn't change the fact it DOES look like an attempt to raise paychecks :-/

I don't have anything against manga/anime, but when a iconic western series is being degenerated into a SNES style weeaboo puzzler, I get pissed. A port of M&M3 or World of Xeen is what the DS needs.
There is a distinct lack of western RPGs on the DS. Seriously.
Ubisoft could spend some time on linking Ashan with the rest of M&M universe instead.
I like both manga & anime but I'm no fan of jRPG. And this particular combo is almost like sacrilege for me. ;)

I agree, I was like what the WTF. Ruined.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...
My favourite RPG series has just ripped to shreds.
*sigh*
Yep, as always, people not willing to accept even possibility it might actually be good when it's released.
Of course, I must agree, it usually DOES end up that way, but that doesn't change the fact bashing before it's even released isn't really fair towards the title that was just announced
LEAVE OLD IPs ALONE!
Lifted this one off of GAF.

An alternative link to the games announcement but with what seems to be a marketing pitch.
My favourite quote of it:
"Created for Might & Magic fans, while also attracting new audiences, Might & Magic Clash of Heroes can be played in solo mode or shared with a friend in two-player peer-versus-peer mode. "
So umm yeah! This one's for all you M&M fans! Like from Ubisoft with love and whatever...enjoy! 8D
looks cool, and sounds like an interesting concept for puzzle games, I'm only disappointed it's only a DS title.
