Every time I'm outside in The Witcher 3 the lighting starts flashing. It gets dark and bright very quickly and is really annoying. But the problem only occurs when I'm outside. I don't have any problems when I'm inside a building. Only when I'm outside. I turned everything on Low and turned off all the settings and I'm still having this problem. Can someone please help me?

enable E-sync*

it will synchronize the blinking of your eyelids to the rate of the light flashes, minimizing the 'flickering' effect your are experiencing.



*No GPUs currently support E-sync, CDPR is working with the leading manufactures and expect to have a resolution soon™

your problem is most likely related to your video card and or drivers

Yeah, just be patient and they'll have a patch out as fast as humanly possible.

in the meantime, try disabling any multi-gpu options you may have going on and ambient occlusion as well

definitely make sure ALL your drivers and OS are up to date

did you download the latest drivers? if so, you should tweak with the settings and see if it's the same on different tweaks.

I am have the same problem. My GPU is a GTX 980. Drivers are up to date. Tried the game on low and ultra graphics. Didn't seem to change it. I'm guessing a patch will come out to fix it -shrug-

Are you sure you have the latest drivers? There was a new driver release just yesterday specifically for the Witcher 3.

Geralt_of_Rivia: Are you sure you have the latest drivers? There was a new driver release just yesterday specifically for the Witcher 3.
I just did an update 2 hours ago, so i think i have the most recent drivers lol

I'm having the same issue. GTX980 with the latest drivers. Seems to get worse with V-sync disabled. Hopefully there is a fix soon.

Same problem here. Really hope a fix for this comes out, it shatters my immersion like a brick through a window :(

Same exact problem here. GTX 970. I'm running Windows 10 though, could be related...
