KavazovAngel: Check the page of each game. Most newly released games are Windows 7 compatible. Like Syberia, for example. :)

ChiliDragon: Oooh, even better! Thanks for letting me know. :-)

Syberia/Amerzone are the only games that've been released with it. BAK wasn't so I think they were exceptions.
Interstate 76 needs to be looked at. For the most part (with a few minor tweaks on our end) the game runs fine. But if there is one complaint I'd have with it, is the music is stuck in a constant loop of the same song. Any chance of a fix on this?
Psychonauts works fine in Win7 x64
GOG guys ( :D ) have you made any significant progress?
I too would like a progress report, even it's just to say that you're still working on it and will let us know when something happens. Regardless, keep up the good work, GoG! :D
Heroes of Might and Magic 3 isn't working well in Windows 7 64x version.
The screen comes up, music plays but there is a black bar on each side of the screen--I've done every adjustment & fix I could think of (haven't gotten a working response from Gog yet). It's as though the image won't stretch to my widescreen (& yes I've tweaked all those settings too).
It worked fine under VISTA.
Pretty frustrating--I hope there's a fix soon & maybe a response to my message.
I'll check back to see if anyone here has anything to suggest I haven't tried, or if it's really just a matter of having to wait for an updated version.
Thanks all!.

It's not a bug of the game, but from your graphic drivers. And anyway, it's not really a bug as it keeps the aspect ratio. Personally, I wanted to have black bars each side of the screen to keep the ratio, but had difficulties to do it. But if you still want a distorted image, you can go in your graphic card configuration (Ati Catalyst for example) and find an option like GPU Scaling to stretch the game to the screen.
Good luck :)
I've noticed that Syberia 2 is not 100% compatible with Windows 7 x64. The game adds two icons in the Games Explorer, the one is fine, but the second is non functional.

Syberia and Syberia II are both games that windows detects automatically. One of the icons would have been created by windows.
On a side note, I would also like a progress report on the current status. The reason why I ask is that some games (the earlier games on GOG) still do not add themselves correctly to windows 7 games explorer correctly.

Still, it is not how it should happen. So something clearly is wrong with the installer or something.

I completely agree. The only way they can stop windows from detecting the game is to use the same GUIDs for the games that windows uses. Microsoft are happy to give these out so I do not know why they have not used them.

This is strange. I have original version of Heroes3 complete and it works just fine with win7.

Probabyly it's to do with his graphical options and/or setup. If there's no straight DVI connection, the bars will appear on all titles old enough.
Master of Orion 1+2 works on Windows 7 64-bit.
My first post on GOG!
I can tell you that Praetorians, Divine Divinity, and Caesar 3 all work perfectly on Win 7-64 bit
