My answer:
beliefs regarding the expansion of and growth of consciousness, and the evolution of humanity.
My reasoning;
Based upon part 1, and paying specific attention to pairs, and to the title described by said pairs, one is communicated the following;
1nsane, Advent Rising = 1 the singularity, and advent rising, it's expression into being, the blossoming forth. A lack of awareness.
Age of Wonders, Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare = the beggining of duality, when experiences may be percieved as of outside of one's own omniscience, which is both wondrous and terryfiing.
Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura, Baldurs Gate: The Original Saga = The mind - or consciousness- is now truly formed, it is a construct, its principles ancient and abiding by universal law, wheter that of magic or of science. This consciousness is the gateway to all self-aware perception.
Beyond Divinity, Castles +Castles 2 = Having gained a seperate mind one is now in the realms of materiality, and physical forms are attracted to and built up around the nubulae of the mind.
Die by the Sword + Expansion, Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition = Representing the pinnacle of the separation of the physical mind from the spiritual, and the chaos and spiritual death affected by such.
Fallout Tactics, Heroes of Might and Magic 2: Gold Edition = representing here a union of balanced opposites, a universal understanding of the 6-figured star or symbol, one is engaged in an internal battle, is witness to both the devestation of their former selves, the the redeeming qualiites of their eternal, essential nature.
Independance War Deluxe, Invictus: In the shadow of Olympus = One has completed a minor cycle, so to speak, yet in doing so, and in coming into their own nature, they realise yet a higher spark of potential to be reached.
Iron Storm, Jagged Alliance 2: Wildfire = This new influx of energy is itself a destructive force, the old self is rent asunder, and the cycle begins anew, admidst fiery chaos.
Kingpin: Life of Crime, Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader = Again Duality is met (the six on the descending arc or the 2 on the ascending) ONe has power at their disposal now, and self awareness, so the opportunity for exploitation or heroics is great.
Lords of the Realm 3, Master of Orion 1+2 = Corrsponding again the the 3 (or the inverse of the 5) the mind here reaches its fullest potential, one has mastered themselves.
Megarace 3, Mob Rule = One now reaches beyond themselves, to a unity of consciousness, a group, with which one forms a willing consensus. One redoubles one's efforts, straining arduously for the goal is near.
Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus, Phantasmagoria 2 = As one nears the final precipice the are met with their most daunting task, abandoned by all those one has drawn comfort and support from, in a true harrowing of the self.
Seven Kingdoms: Ancient Adversaries, Simon the Sorcerer 3D = And in this stage that final precipice is reached, the accumulation of all that one has named the self, the most ancient of adversaries, when one has slain themselves, both literally and figuratively, they arise newborn, the true magi.
Tex Murphy: Overseer, The Nations Gold Edition = One then finds place, should they so choose, in responsibilites towards the rest of humanity. This represents the battle won, and union achieved, not as thirst for power, but driven by love. The completion of the Second Cycle.
Unreal 2: The Awakening SE, Unreal Tournament 2004 ECE = we are here shown clearly, the unreal; that final step beyond our current comprehension. Although the wise may say it is this life which is unreal, it is by the same words that they may describe the absolute, for being beyond limitation, it is also by its nature beyond being. One now stands ready to witness a new cycle unknowable to mankind, and a culmination of unity of all that has preceeded it.
From this alphabetical progression of this list one may witness the belief that is is natural and lawful, the essence of reality. by the number 30 one may deduce 3x10, or 3 cycles to be completed to perfection.
The secondary list gives the clue to all of this, in misplacing certain titles alphabetically to spell the letters IMHTO, or if one looks more closely, IMHNO, for The Nations Gold Edition, being the only title prefixed by 'The' may be considered for alphabetical purposes Nations, The (Gold Edition) IMHNO being In My Humble Newbie Opinion, representing that we are concerned here with Beliefs, by one who views themselves as a begginnner in this field - not a gaming veteran, but a humble aspirant upon the path.

I spent HOURS yesterday on this. I wrote all the basic info of those games on pieces of paper so I could arrange and study then. I was mainly looking for the so mentioned "pairs", but couldn't find them yet. I even dreamed about last night, and I'm going to be a lot pissed if this is some kind of a joke again.

Well, me too luka666.
I printed it and made lots of notations, all of them leading to nowhere, I suppose.
I should take a picture of this stuff, it's kinda obssessively ridiculous.
I'll back down a bit on this puzzle, it's not healthy for me.
I just hope that as soons as someone answer it right, he declares the winner then. It would suck to know that I had no chance of winning since someone said the right answer on day 1.
