Well, if you will think of the word 'well' as a well of information, then you will understand just how well you type "well."

nicohvc: I have the same problem with well. I suppose that is useful for non-native speakers. Well... with football are you meaning soccer, right? tonight you can watch Argentina - Paraguay (Copa América) The winner goes to the final against Chile. 20:30 UTC -3

Well, if I would watch this video for the whole 10 minutes, I guess I would be pushing up daisies after that. I only watched it for about three minutes and it was enuff to make me totally confused, so I have another question:
Am I a cow or a lady?? I don`t know anymore!!!

Maxvorstadt: Hmm, as far as I know I`m of bavarian origin. And the word "nun" (well) is not used very often in Bavaria. We have our own "fillwords".

adaliabooks: I don't know. I tend to over use ellipsis (...) when typing on forums, not sure why but I've always done it.
Well i actually do both....i often use 'well' and those ellipsis...i don't know why....but then again i tend to start german sentences with "Nun" or "Na ja" which both means "well" :)

Well, since I don't know you well, I can't say as I know.

I'd write more but I'm not feeling well. Got a few bumps when some ne'er-do-well pushed me down a well.

I tried not to cry, but the tears just kept welling up.
