Since they're already a publisher here and the first season has been out for a while now, what's the hold up?

Vote:
The Walking Dead: Season 1
The Walking Dead: Season 2
YEAH! What's the hold up!? I already have season 1 but would like to have 2 on my gog shelf! The german translations are horrific!
I'd say it's probably because the games phone home constantly, and Telltale isn't ready to turn it off for a gog release?

Or did pre-Walking Dead games had that too? That whole thing with gathering data on gamers' in-game decisions thing?
And its been discounted at every sale and also bundled (in one of the humbles) i do believe as well..albeit a steamkey...

Or Telltale needs the DRM-System...

Telltale doesn't need it, because their other games are here, and creators of Walking Dead support drm-free too, so I don't think there's antrhing stopping them from getting season 1 here (because they have all the data they need already), but I doubt they'd publish season 2 here (because they want all the data, all of it!).

PS: Ia, ia, Cthulhu fhtang!

Well, I'm fine even if they prefer DRM or other things for the first year (even if useless), but then WD1 should come here unlocked on GOG!

We never got Jurassic Park either. Does that game do the same "what other players did" gimmick too?
high rated
I would also like to see Strong Bad, Hector, and Puzzle Agent here as well. The Wolf Amongst Us as well once its finished. My Mum would also like the CSi games, as would I. The reason I do not own these games yet (and the above mentioned Jurassic Park) is because I can not buy them here.
I would love to see the walking dead drm free, and we do have back to the future...maybe in the future if we go back we can have it?

The DVD release of TWD has no DRM at all, iirc.

The PC version of TWD has which is the one that matters since GOG is PC only. TWD constantly pings back to Tell Tale's servers to determine what content is available to the player.

Technically that's not hard to bypass, but you need the consent of TellTale, and if it's not there , there should be a reason , but i won't speculate which one ;p

The DVD release I was talking about is the PC version. It's a bit of a trial trying to prove it's DRM free (I don't own it, and getting something that explicit is a PITA on google) but there are several people at the telltale forums- eg here - saying it is drm free.

I heard that game was shite.
