When almost EVERY Transformers show, including the original series, had human characters aswell.

The only show that did not have Human Characters was 1990s Beast Wars. And it was much better show without human characters :P

Odd I cannot see my thread in the forums.

Because it's called "transformers" not "Puny Humans."

I refused to watch any of the movies after the first one turned out to be a BS movie about humans that just happened to have some transformers. Apart from the last 30 minutes that were just transformers, the rest of the movie was terrible.
Because those human characters are played by people like Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox. :P It's like they got together and thought, "How many self righteous pricks can we fit into one movie?" :P

It's not that there are human characters, it's that, in a movie about transforming robots, these human characters are boring and unlikable and take up huge amounts of screen time.
Because, if I recall correctly, the animated movie was about transforming robots from start to finish. It was about their planet, their political troubles etc. The movies were kind of nice but they switched the focus completely.
That's good.

On the other hand, I can't believe how many crumbs are in the butter.
And, how many buttery crumbs are in the jam.
I haven't seen them myself, but going off of the feedback, it sounds like it's the equivalent of a Batman movie that focused on one of GCPD's street beat cops on parking meter patrol instead of Batman, with just a few token appearances by the dark knight. Well..actually that might be more interesting...

That's about right. But, only if the beat cop looks like he probably has VD.

Watch the last 30 minutes of the first Transformers movie. It was pretty awesome, I just don't get why we had to wait that long to get the movie we were promised.
because its called transformers
its a movie that should have a focus on the transformers not the humans

instead half of the movie focusses on boring unlikable humans with so called "humor"

if i watch transformers i expect transformers not 150 minutes of annoying humans co starring some transformers

beast machines was also totally human free

id rather read the comics anyway
more then meets the eye has been the best tf comic for 3 years now

most not all tf series that have PUNY FLESHLINGS !!! are from japan because for some vauge reason the audiance needs a hume identifying character

this was brought to obnoxious heights in masterforce where the whole damn cast were humans with transformer body ( it was basically a mech show with the transformers name )

and victory an awfull awfull series with unfunny humor ineffectual enemies and an annoying adopted human brat running around with the autobots

beast wars and beast machines are the sole entries with out any human protagonists ( which is why i like them so much )

armada energon and cybertron have a focus on humans again
( and energon is one of the worst series ever produced even worse then the bayformer movies those will actually end energon goes on and on and on and on for 52 episodes )

tf animated does it as well
but sari isnt quite what she seems
and there is a focus on human antagonists in animated because 1 decepticon usually is already more then the 5 autobots can handle ( yes 5 personally i want to see a huge cast again but thats a rant for another day )

prime has too many damn humans

no comment on rid other then : for gods sake not bumbelbee again !!!

well there were still puny humes

daniel son of psiek tagged along
and we never really got rid of him in season 3 and in headmasters he was even one of the main characters

but usually its just 1 token human not half the bloody cast

except for masterforce where the cast are humans in tf bodies

pokeformers armada has an obnoxious focus on obnoxious kids as well

and prime has too many damn humans as well ( though not as obnoxious as the obnoxious kids from armada )

Like everyone else said:

The problem isn't that it has human characters, it's that the transformers are side-characters in their own movie.

Also, it doesn't help that those characters are fucking awful!
Hollywood has a way of deceiving people into coming to the theatre, spending money on the movie hoping to get what they came for.

For example-

If you watch the recently released Godzilla movie's trailer. You will see that the trailer is misleading. It shows Bryan Cranston and Godzilla as the "MAIN CHARACTERS".

But they are side characters in the movie.

In the actual movie, the main character is some newbie actor and the movie is full of pro war, military worship propaganda.

Off course that was not revealed in the trailer.

Same thing with Transformers. It's full of "join the military" propaganda, with the American flag popping up every 5 minutes and transformers are side characters.

The american flag pops up more than 20 times in age of extinction movie, it was ridiculous.
Because the humans are played by actors with Backpfeifengesicht.

And they get more screen time than the robots.

Double mild weak sauce.

and while thats understandable with the first movie because it has to set up everything
its less understandable when its a movie series with 4 fucking entries

the fourth movie still has a ridicilous focus on the humans
but at least this time the characters are less awfull and there is less "humor "

Bay gets off on shitty tropes. He probably wanks it to his own reflection whilst draped in the flag.
