I can't say I care. I use the list view anyway, easier to see and download many games from that view.
If I may hijack this thread, a filter for gift codes would be great. Something like "hide redeemed gifts".
It's not something I crave but if poeple want it i won't stay in their way.

That could easily be done with a greasemonkey script. Similiar to the Hide giveaway script. I'm not a scripter, but go to this thread and perhaps it will help.

Be advised you need to be running chrome or Firefox or some variant of the two to run the scripts.

Does Steam have shelves? Gamersgate? Desura?

Maybe GOG needs some props for just having shelves to begin with.
