I just finished Septerra Core and Spellforce and I'm wondering what I should play next. I've got Stonekeep, Sacred Gold, the Realms of Arkania series, Divine Divinity, Arx Fatalis, and the two Syberias. I haven't played any before. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
Arx Fatalis...or Sacred Gold. You should buy Fallout, Duke Nukem, and Soldiers: Heroes of WW 2, and play those in that order.

Rohan15: ...or Sacred Gold.

For what it's worth, I found Sacred Gold incredibly boring. The story moves extremely slowly, and most of the side quests are of the type "go all the way to the other end of the map, pick up this thing and bring it back here". But lots of people seem to think it's a great game, so it's probably just me.
Out of those, Arx Fatalis or Syberia. I must echo the thoughts of Wishbone, I found Sacred to be very boring, although I could see someone enjoying it if they are a fan of Diablo / Torchlight etc.
Siberia or Divine Divinity.
Divine Divinity.
Even as a fan of Diablo, Sacred wouldn't get my vote. It is a poor diablo clone. DD has much more to it in terms of plot and gameplay, and if you like it then you can follow up with the sequel, whereas Sacred 2 just continues with more of the same.
Stonekeep. It will whittle your time away very quickly. I should know, because that's how I spent my time in the library during my first semester lol.
Anyway, threads like these usually start to diverge into a multitude of opinions, and very soon, you're going to find an even split of votes on all your choices :X

muddysneakers: Divine Divinity, Arx Fatalis, and the two Syberias. I don't even know why I bought the other games, but these four should provide quality entertainment for quite a while, don't you think so?

Yes, I think so.

Seconded.
Divine Divinity, when installed correctly (Install as Admin, Play as Admin) is amazing, so immersive, and on the level as Diablo IMO. I found the soundtrack to be one of the best I have heard. I just love the game!

I agree with you %100. The game offers little to give you a feeling you are this bad ass character, the plot is very boring and generic, and the maps are the same for everyone. I uninstalled it.

And for this reason... you recommended it?

You never know what games people may enjoy. I for one LOVE the Harvest Moon games and most people I know have no idea what they are.

That's as may be. But when someone asks me to recommend them a game/book/movie/whatever, I don't tend to reply "You should try this, I think it sucked."

Well, those were the only 2 games on there I have played. =)
I'd recommend SWAT 4, but that isn't on GOG yet. =(
I would love to have SWAT 4 on GOG... -Sad Face-
