I can't say whether or not that game will be on GOG next Tuesday, but what more do you want from the upcoming list? It already shows there is at least one new title coming, that's all it was ever intended to do.
It can show the true games of the next week releases. It was showing them when the site was founded but in lately 2009 and 2010 it is not useful. Sometimes it is showing one game sometimes it is shows nothing.

I agree, they could be better about keeping the list populated, but indicating exactly what is supposed to be out each Tuesday is not what it is for. It is only there as a teaser for titles that are eventually coming to GOG, without any specific release dates; its just an advertising gimmick. That's why it is called the "Upcoming" list and not the "Next Tuesday" list.

Well, the staff had pretty nasty experiences with games announced for release and then delayed... Guess they won't tell us they have something up their sleeves until it's 100% they can release it in the near future.
Just in case people are still expecting a release today, affiliates have been told that there won't be one today.
They probably ran out of back ups. I figure some titles are giving them trouble, so they're probably somewhat old and take longer to tweak or the release schedule just caught up with them and they'll have to stop releasing games on thursdays.
Or maybe there's a biiiiiig surprise for us up ahead, though I doubt it. They can't possibly spoil us this bad.

As long as we get Realms of the Haunting and Total Annihilation next week I'm happy.
I don't ask for much. :P

Well I'd rather they spent more time on making sure releases worked than rushing them out there to meet expectations. There are already a few titles that clearly needed more work.

acare84: It is really getting annoying. Why do we have Upcoming List section on this site if it isn't working? I hope GOG.com will make Upcoming List section usable because surprise releases are really getting really annoying for some people (at least for me). We really want to know which games will GOG.com in near future. You can make surprise releases as well but since 2010 nearly all releases are surprise release....
we don't have an unlimited CC
I enjoy the surprise releases myself. As long as there's always at least 1 game in the Upcoming section, and it actually comes out within a month of being put there, I don't care if it's not actually the next game released.
Also, this is the first Thursday in a while without a release, right? Guess we were getting spoiled.

Oh that would be really strategic... letting every other store knowing 100% what and when GOG will bring; the X-Com series for example, and then another store notices it and makes a $2 sale just a week before GOG's release date.
Yep, that would be profitable.

Agreed. It's nice being a teaser list, letting us know one or two titles that will come in the same month.

Agreed. But I don't think they'll stop it definitely, they'll stay as fast and regularly as they can (do the repair job and publisher agreements).

But on the "list" thread, you have like 100+ games. My entire collection is close to only your GOG collection. Certainly you must have something on your backlog that can keep you busy?
Maybe you find more fun in collecting the games and getting the best deals than you do in playing what you buy. I know that keeps me busy too. :)
