I recently requested my personal data under GDPR from GOG and of course had to document everything. So I put most of the files in a repo along with some fresh new documentation. You can find it all at https://github.com/Yepoleb/gog_gdpr

Feel free to ask questions or tell me about your GDPR stories.
Interesting stuff, thanks. I had a look out of curiosity, but there's nothing in there which I did not expect them to collect to be honest.

I also noticed your birth date is "1905-01-01". I'm a "1970-01-01" man myself :P.
Thanks for the info, that's very interesting. Did you change any data in those files? Because I noticed the date in acc_created.csv is 2012-12-13, while here on the forum it says you're registered in December 2015, and this one matches with the date from profile.json (2015-12-04).

The only data I changed are the IPs in the orders file. Account creation date and birth date are incorrect as noted in the documentation.
Where would they even get your date of birth from?
I don't remember ever being asked for it here...

Interesting anyway, I'm tempted to do mine just to see all my forum posts...

Ah, thanks. I didn't read the documentation, just looked at the files. :)

They have some default year with January 1st set as b-day, as in WinterSnowfall's post, but you can set it here.

It's part of the account settings.

Required presumably to purchase certain rated games. (Especially with COPPA and tougher jurisdictions about ratings.)
