Everquest 2, since you asked. When I started playing, it was a great game (by MMO standards), but it's gone too far downhill for me to recommend it anymore. My guild and I just gave up on it.

Not to hijack your thread, I'm just using myself as an example of how incredibly specific peoples' tastes in MMOs can be.

Asbeau: Eve Online gets a big expansion on December 4th which should refresh the game quite a bit. IIt's not for everyone, but after nearly ten years it's still managing to grow and I've given up and returned a few times because there's nothing else with quite the same scope.

If you're interested in trying it drop me a PM and I'll sort you out an extra-long trial and a bunch of in-game money to get you started.

reaver894: Good to see another EVE player.

Seconding that is not for everyone, its learning curve is more of a learning cliff, If you choose to try it definitely get a 3 week trial from an existing player, even that isnt really enough time IMO
