SimonG: I'm haemorrhaging rep each night recently. About 8 points. I guess somebody is summarily downrepping everything I post.
Because despite the good intentions, you were sounding dickish like this:

Who is the bigger asshole, the Dragon Age haters or you?

Neobr10: Oh yeah, Rogue Trooper is a hidden gem, what a great game it was. The last AvP was made by Rebellion and it was pretty decent as well.
Rogue Trooper was Licenced from 2000ad though - and they were forced into making the game true to its roots - if only the same thing had been done with Dredd VS. Death (started out okay, then down the pan - I was so disappointed by that).

AFnord: Limbo of the Lost: Not only did this game steal its graphics from other sources (which is what it is known for), but the puzzles are horrendous and the main character's movement speed just makes it unplayable.
Let's plays of this game (both rpg.net and Something Awful) never fail to cheer me up! Bought this game (you can sometimes get it at some internet auction) and played it myself - it's a torture!

DCT: Fade to Black - Loved Flashback but this game was a joke a bad joke
I know it's generally hated but I enjoyed it to some point... Still, keeping it 2D would make it a masterpiece.
ET for the Atrari 2600. Yes, I'm that old and yes, it was that bad. Name another single game that collapsed an entire industry. I've played some horrendous games since then, but nothing has surpassed it for sheer worthlessness, in my experience.
Wanted Guns. It's even shittier than x-com enforcer.

After that... Crusader of Might and Magic and F3: Mothership Zeta.

Gah

reaver894: This may be controversial but Tropico is the first thing that comes into my mind. Just never could get on with it, don't know why, I just didn't like it
Nooooooo, but but... Tropico is the best game for me... #1... Give a one more try... It´s strategic, it´s fun, it´s complex and you can have your own banana republic...

Yea, they seem to have printed a lot of copies of that game (EU version at least, the American one is apparently quite rare). I picked mine up for less than 10€.

Horrible level design and gameplay. :D

I enjoyed Fade To Black (having only played Flashback a little), and is one of the few games that I completed. Haven't heard about it since, kind of hoping it will turn up on GOG one day.
The Beastly movie tie-in game for the Wii

Why? Because at least half the game is literally just following a blinking objective arrow and pressing A to "accomplish" those objectives, and the other half is made up of crappy minigames that would have been lackluster even if they were made on Flash and hosted on Newgrounds. In games like Superman 64 and ET, the potential fun is hidden by tons of horrible design choices or glitches. In Beastly, there's no fun to begin with.

StingingVelvet: For every Meat Boy or Resonance there is a piece of shit people only talk about to look smart or different. Fucking hipsters!
You have no idea. The German-speaking (especially the Austrian) indie scene seems to be literally dominated by actual hipsters. A bunch of them once gave a lecture in Berlin followed by a hipster party in a hipster club. Fucking hipsters!

tinyE: Sacrifce is a great game and I urge EVERYONE to buy it!
Licurg, give up the charade. Now everybody knows it's you.

Broken Sword: The Director's Cut
I loved the original version, and when this came out I read that it contained extra portions of the story, which I assumed had been cut out so it would fit on the original 2 disks. Yet right from the get go it just seemed so broken.
-The art styles are so different it breaks the mood and feel between the darker old and the bright vibrant new section.
-The new dialogue is recorded at a higher level then the original so it just does not work, it sounds too loud and crisp while making the rest sounds like a choked whisper.
- Those annoying portraits that appear when people talk, even games that implemented that the first time around look shoddy, let alone adding it in.
-The reality was the new section took all of 5 minutes to complete, and the fiddling with the intro had already driven me up the wall.
Thankfully I can play it on my phone from my disks using ScummVM, or from GOG being so good as to give the original away on their site. I really feel they should sell it - ORIGINAL Broken Sword + bonus you can try the Directors Cut.

The remake of number two does not seem so bad, Just they should loose the portraits again.
QWOP
Just out of pure frustration and impossibleness.

Actually, I do own Gods and Generals. That might be the worst.
-It completely steals the interface from NOLF2, from the menus, to the skill system, to the crosshair itself.
-The graphics are disturbingly bad. Bad models, mystery blobs, 2D trees, wooden horses...
-The sound is low quality and generic. And there are only about 5 sounds.
-The AI... Is not "I" at all. It runs into trees or walls and gets stuck, it has no brain, and usually doesn't notice when you stab it.
-Horrifying hit detection, and endless invisible walls.
-Completely broken objective system. So broken that you cannot actually finish the "story".
-Muskets can only be fired once, and then are disposed of. You have to find another musket to fire again. Unless you max out your ammo skill (stolen from NOLF2), then it can magically fire twice semi-automatically.
-Literally hundreds of AI will spawn out of thin air in the middle of a field in plain sight when you are standing right in front of them.
-And finally, the worst part - the soundtrack is LITERALLY 20 seconds from the movie score looped over and over again. Endlessly. And it can't be turned off.

Yeah... That is probably the worst. Still kinda fun to play occasionally for kicks, though.
