I just saw the name of the poster lol

It's funny I haven't seen the movie either (although I have watched other Passolini films), but I've read about it and I recognized the main character in the picture.

Yes, you're right, it's Accattone from Pasolini. My nickname comes from this film! You should definitely watch it. It's one of Pasolini's best.

svmariscal: Nope, italian. It's Accatone by Pier Paolo Passolini

catpower1980: Damn! Actually, my very first thought seeing the hint was "it reminds me something, it looks like a Pasolini's movie" but as I hadn't seen it and couldn't put a name on it, I thought it was something else. I should have sticked with my first impression ;)
Always stick to first impressions! :) And you should watch Accattone!

Well I think one more clue is in order. This one should give it away.

It seems like it's Whisky Galore! It's been ages since I watched an Ealing comedy. Do you have a favorite to recommend?

At long last! I was starting to lose my faith in humanity :)

Apart from this one which I heartily recommend, the other Ealing comedy I remember the most is Passport to Pimlico, really awkward and funny plot. ANd there's also The Man in the White Suit, one of Sir Alec Guiness earliest works

Thank you for the recommendations. I'll try to watch them.

OK. My turn. This is a classic, well-known film and also a favorite of mine.
