You are right about the theme of the game. It does take place in Afghanistan and it features Russian troops. I'm not sure if you are thinking about the right game though. I tried to google "Company 9" Afghanistan game, but all I could find was a movie about the 9th company, which is set during 1988. I don't know if the conflict that that movie is based on is present in the game which I posted a screenshot of though. It has a wider scope than the movie though. (And it is by the way not made by a company called Company 9 either)

Look at the names of the screenshots, that should give you a hint about the name of the game. What might CMA stand for, when you are dealing with a game that takes place in Afghanistan?
